surely the above are slightly different to swapping snaps of a blokes arse in a hotel room and getting outraged by the recent activities of his penis?

It is not the end of the world, it did prove to me that his desire was not focused on an international match which was two days away. It proved he is immature and not ready for tournament international football, when you need to focus for 3/4 weeks, without shagging the nearest local woman.
This is a major setback, how he handles it and what he learns from it is vital to his progress. I am sure his advisors and club are saying the same.
I am disappointed that a generational talent acted like a child , and not an international footballer with one cap, wanting to play in a major tournament in 9 months.
If the excuse is because he is "so young" as you said in your post, then maybe he is "too young" to play international football or major man city games, when he needs to follow the instructions his manager gives him, and not do as he pleases.
I still have very high hopes for the future, and will give him my full support when I am back at the Etihad,

It is that he has broken the rules, been completely unprofessional and a dick, all a day after making his international debut, and telling the world it was his dream.
It is not outrage ,but disapointment and having an opinion which is different from yours.
If he had done nothing wrong he would not be in trouble with.
His club
His country
The Icelandic authorities
His Mrs
His family

Some prick on Talk Sport with Paul Ross after 1am UK time. Stated Foden should get a longer ban from England than the rag as the rag is 2 year younger and Foden at 2 years older AND A FATHER / IN A RELATIONSHIP / should have known better. Pretty much described the rags involvement the same way The media has treated Harry McGuire the past 2 weeks.... Has been given the benefit of the doubt whilst Foden is hung to dry.

I would suggest that this thread should be closed now. He made a mistake and deservedly got the flack coming his way but its time to move on.

Silver lining from this whole fiasco is that it happend to him at an early age and the lessons learnt from this won't be forgotten by him anytime soon.

Everyone makes mistakes but we can't just keep going on and on about it.
