It's funny how Evertonians, Wolves, West Ham, Sunderland, Celtic, Rangers, Hearts and even Spurs supporters post on here and seem, on the whole to rub along..

I mean, come on you must know that your club is detested by all and sundry, not just on here..?

Is it because you have a monopoly of ex players at Sky and BT constantly blowing smoke up your arse..?

Is it because, even in an empty stadium, the viewing public are forced to have to listen to your karaoke ditty before kick off..?

Is it because your club has mastered the art of looking down their nose at other clubs ..?

Is it because you have players like Robertson, Milner, Dick Van Dyke, Gomez and Trent Darby who are just not likeable..?

Is it because 'it means more' to your club than anyone else's club..?

Is it because everyone is jealous of your selective history..!


BTW, thanks for pointing out the failings of the best manager the PL has ever seen..

I'm sure if Pep's reading this thread he'll take your comments on board..

After all, you are by association, a most knowledgable fan..

Oh and regarding the 'few dodgy decisions' you copped for in your cut and shut title run in... I'd suggest you just got given enough to get you over the line..

I think that most here would agree that when all fit and on form that both first 11's are pretty evenly matched. I would say slightly different strengths but close enough.
You look at your record over the last few years, the centurions, the fourmidables and then last season where you lost too many games and were nowhere near the usual standards set. (Laporte injury, KDB injury and playing Fernandinho out of position the main reasons) I doubt that will be the case this season!
Surely then it comes down to squad depth? Clealy City have the advantage in this area.

Or are you all seriously saying that irrespective of fitness and squad depth that you will be cheated out of it by VAR/Refs?? Even if that may be the case that Liverpool are getting decision in their favour, it would only really be relevent in direct games against each other. City should still steamroller most of the others in the league. I mean you took Liverpool apart in the last game.

I know much was made of the comments about the title being shared around, in which case, whose to say it wont go to someone else, or back to City again?

Just saw the incident for the dippers first pen. THe handball rule has been a mess for a few seasons now. They've tweaked the attacking rule to try and avoid situations like Phil's against liverpool getting ruled out (ridiculous decision) but the defending handball rule is still uncecessarily subjective and seemingly written by someone who has never played football.

The defending handball rule surely has to be about a sanction for when a hand stops a goal. The leeds guy clearly accidentallydefelcted the ball onto his hand. There was no intention there and the ball was deflected away fron the goal. Just make the rule require deliberateness AND tie in the trajectory when the ball hits the hand....if it's going away from goal after hitting the hand it's not a penalty;
