The facts are as clear as day but some will always choose to not see them for what they are...he wanted to leave but was prevented. He tried everything and might still go this window or in the future.

Laughable that of all the people he could use and drag through the mud he chooses his friends apparently it’s just that the CFG are stupid.

Lastly not one of Messi’s actions to date required City to do anything we were only required if he left.

To be used City would have to be worse off or Messi better off.

Neither has happened so let’s make something up to fit Messi being an evil genius.

He didn't really try Everything, to leave, did he. He drew a line, that he wouldn't cross, and chose not to challenge Bartomeu's threat. And perhaps in the knowledge that City, if we were as inolved as is claimed, were not prepared to go down that route either.

Otherwise, agree 100% with everything. I don't blame him either. If he decided a legal battle with however long it would strain him and his family and put his playing last few years at risk is not worth it, can't judge him for that.

There is enough 'PC' correctness in England without having to see a lecture in the transfer thread from Spain!

I (am guessing btw) imagine that the name has been chosen as a nod towards the 'Isco Disco' thread, which is one of the more recurring transfer sagas / rumours on bluemoon in recent years. Simple alliteration - nothing more, nothing less.

Back on point - have all rumours dried up from Barca side / Spain regarding a potential transfer?

This is where i joined last time, stage 1 Messi says he is leaving , stage 2 Messi finds a realistic club to go to, stage 3 Barca decide what terms they will take Messi back, we are at stage 3, a transfer was unlikely before but now is highly unlikely

Amazing scenes from Barcelona. Suarez has apparently said NO to Juventus. Vidal has to cancel is fight because inter can't terminate things with Godín. So they stopped vidal transfer till then. Lmao!! Take that bartomeu. Have fun with the wages and debt and no new signings.

Lyon's president has said that Bartomeu told him Barclona are suffering greatly from Covid and there's no chance of them making an offer for Depay at his €30m price.

 
What is this shite about Messi being told by Barca to take a pay cut to help out? That's the sort of rumour that just begs to be true.
