Loved his 1st time finish on his weaker foot. Neither Jesus or Sterling would've shown that sort of technique or composure - dare I say it was Harry Kane-esque.

Lots to work on and improve but he's an exciting prospect. The aggression is a huge bonus for me and it's a trait that's helped take the likes of Suarez, Rooney & Costa very far.

Horrible for defenders to play against and the sort of shithousery we've sometimes lacked.

Comparisions with Haaland and D. Costa seem natural. I think he is - or will be - quicker than them both.

Doesnt have Haaland's raw pace but quicker than he looks as well.

Took his goal very well - lovely clean strike and we miss that when Aguero doesnt play

Would be interesting to see how he develops and if he gets minutes in premiership games where he can really test himself.

I think a great advantage Liam has over many talented kids is that his dad was a Premier league and international player not that long ago. With his dad's guidance , Peps tutoring and his own raw talent, we could have a potential superstar on our hands .

We're fine dont worry. Only joined a year ago so he's tied down. He will be very happy with his development so far. Club have an awful lot of faith in him too and he'll know that. Going nowhere.

Apparently it’s their model to nick very young players who aren’t fully established at a top club and pay them, for their age, a high wage we won’t offer. Guaranteed first team playing time too....Sancho etc.

Delap seems tied down a little better though.

This is not true. They pay less than us. Sancho was widely reported by club friendly media to have been offered £30k/week, and we know for a fact Dortmund paid him €20k/week because it was leaked.

Off the mark though...The more important quality wrt speed is acceleration. Besides, are there any data suggesting that Haaland was that quick already at 17? Foden didn't look quick at 17, now he is quite quick for a midfielder. Delap can definitely get quicker over the next 3-4 years.
