TV Channel 1/1/2021 - Online subscription channel by the end of Q1 2021 unless someone will sink millions ££££ into a loss leading mouthpiece

He’s a Tory **** but he doesn’t let that get in the way of an interview. He treats all politicians with the contempt they deserve. I hope he continues that style rather than pander and becomes Cummings News Network.

If he does go down the Bernard manning route of treating everyone equally I think he'll struggle for guests - just like Boris decided to give him a miss which was in hindsight a shrewed move. He's either got his head up his arse or his finger on the pulse launching this as a pay channel - he's competing with all the free shit on youtube

why do they all deserve contempt ?

Most are very decent people trying there best for their constituents.
 
I think this could actually help the BBC.

5 or 10 years ago, it would be unthinkable that there'd be such growing support for it to be privatised but it's abandoned its neutrality on a lot of issues and I think GB news, whether that is neutral or not, will hopefully anchor the BBC back towards neutrality.

24hr news already is dead air at times and filled with reactionary or over dramatised shite, do we really need a new one, and one that seems.like it will be in tone to the spectator or fox news.

We have enough cranks getting airtime as it is and can only further split the nation imho.

Oh I will give it a fair crack as I did when al jazeera and RT launched as sky.and bbc news is wank tbf and I have an open mind, but I find 24hr news channels unecessary and also part of the ruinment of real journalism to fill dead air time.
 
24 hour rolling news is sensationalised, politically biased negative shite designed to literally panic people into thinking the world is about to fucking end.

Every second of every minute of every hour day in, day out has to be filled and they fill it with utter shite most of the time.

Ive little doubt this will be the exact same.
 
It will be one hour of news with the other twenty-three devoted to ‘Migrant Watch‘ from the channel in the hope of catching a dinghy sinking live on TV.

24 hour rolling news channels should be banned, although as I don‘t watch any news channels or even any news programs I’m obviously not the target audience.
 
You do have to feel a bit for the right. With only the likes of The Mail, The Express, The Times, The Telegraph, The Sun, Mail on Sunday, and The Spectator to represent their views, they must often feel that they have no voice in British mainstream media.

How is Times Radio doing, is it the same people behind both ventures?

I’ve recently been on Facebook for the first time in years as the little ones school put pictures on there. My goodness! It’s full of anti-immigrant propaganda and the odd sprinkle of how phedophiles get an easy ride. If this channel is giving those sort of people the ‘news’ they are missing then we are truly fucked!
