So the tone hasn't changed much on here since you've been away has it pecker..?

Tell me, in what way in your absence were you expecting it to change then..?

From what I read on here, I would say it's rather accurate..!

Detestable dippers..
Bingo whinging he's got no dough whilst spending £100's of millions ..
VAR assisted results..
Money laundering owners..
Attempting to furlough staff..
Sycophantic media..
Too many ex players as pundits..
Ex players daughter as a pundit..
Ferrel fans..
The 5 2 3 karaoke we're all subjected to..
No respect for others..
FFP cheats..
No big screens in your hovel..
This means more bollocks..
Did your best to fuck City over with UEFA..
Unlikeable players..
Computer hacking..
Unsackable Spit..
That fkin shitstain of a newspaper, The Echo..

Just off the top of my head you understand..

However, I'm sure you will agree, all of the above points have a cast iron ring of truth about them which in turn goes a long way to rub people up ever so slightly when it comes to discussing your club..

To be fair, I'm probably being a tad gererous as I'm sure there are many other points I've neglected to mention but deep down, in your heart of hearts, you'll know what they are..

So taking the above into account, I'd be interested to get your views on how you would suggest the posters on this thread go about changing the mood to accommodate you by basically blowing smoke up your club's arse..?

To sum up, you support a most destable, dislikeable, horrible, selective history spouting club that, I would hazard a guess, nobody on here gives 2 fcuks about..!

Finally, it's nothing personal you understand, it's all about opinions really..

... and this post reflects mine..!

sometimes it worth having a read back, just in case one misses a cracker like this!
top post.

Liverpool fans abusing their own players again. No other club's fans do this to the same extent. 19 year old neco Williams (not sure that's his name) has had to delete his social media due to death threats and abuse. They won 7-2.

Liverpool, the drugs capital of the UK if not Europe. Money and self styled gangstas are not a healthy mix.

Didnt Liverpool legend StevieG face similar threats?

Whilst posting on the European Conference League thread, I realised that had the old format of European club football been kept (European Cup, UEFA Cup, Cup Winners Cup), Liverpool would be competing in the top competition this year for the first time since, let's say some Chelsea fans stood near a wall that fell down.

As a new poster, although I've followed the boards for a couple of years, I'm curious about the opinion of city fans about the strength of the respective first teams and squad depth.

On a 4-3-3 formation, and with a red bias, I would have selected a combined team of :

Alisson = Ederson

Robinson > Mendy
Alexander Arnold > Walker
VVD > Ake
Laporte > Gomes

Fabinho > Fernandinho
De Bruyne > Henderson
Rodri > Henderson

Mane = Sterling
Salah > Jesus
Aguero > Firminho

Klopp = Pep

That would give 5 Liverpool, 4 City and 2 equal. That doesn't necessarily mean I think Liverpool is a better team, just on this head to head match up. Perhaps the comparisons aren't appropriate, perhaps you disagree?

In the past almost everyone would have said City have much stronger depth. Probably still true but perhaps less so than for many years with some of your recent best players retiring/aging while Liverpool have finally managed to improve past just the first team.

I would imagine that if you've followed the boards for a couple of years as stated, you already have a pretty good grasp of the majority views on both Liverpool and City and their respective line-ups and squad depths.

Come Friday night, why do you care what we think (genuine question)?

Bit late on a Friday night to go fishing isn't it?

An excellent and we'll presented bait. If John Willson were still alive he'd do a program about this.
