No. They play in different positions. They are not central midfielders.

Then Gundogan comes back and does his ACL? We are fucked. I don't rate Gundogan that highly anyway so I am certainly not going to hang my season on the back of him coming back.

Aouar is one of the best players in his position in the world, is ready to leave and for a reasonable fee. It's a fucking no brainer and I won't be convinced otherwise.
