Didn’t Foden play there the other night? We don't have enough if he continues to play the same one paced shite in there. He hasn't played Bernardo or Foden in the midfield since what feels like forever.

50m euros ia a pretty decent price for a player of his quality
Foden is a kid, he will have ups and downs, that's part of his football education.Looked great in the middle. Bossed it. Pressed well. I feel like they (Management) et al.) have realised that Rodri can’t do it on his own.
Having to Fernandinho next to him isn’t a good look. He can’t play every match anymore. Dinho played the DM role on his own for a number of seasons and did a job. Can’t see Rodri as someone who can do that. Good player but might not be the one for the system.
The only positive to come from yesterday would be if we now changed tune and went all in for Aouar.
Baffles me why we aren't in for him now tbh he seems a perfect pep player in terms of skill and an injection of fresh energy and work rate.

But at this moment he is not capable of replacing David Silva and should not be expected to.
Would love Aouar, but not sure he would solve any of our problems. He would add creativity and help us keep the ball. But he is not going to do the dirty work in midfield for us. Or make it harder for our opponents to bypass our midfield. Which Leicester did fairly easily yesterday.
I think he would be a good signing
I just wonder if we are saving whatever money we have to replace kun next year
He worked pretty hard in defence against us in Lisbon
Logic could dictate that we raise some cash by getting rid of Gundogan, who we may still be able to get a decent fee for before he hits his 30s, and then bring in Aaour for the very decent price he's going for at only 22 years of age.
Pep, however, doesn't seem to want to ever get rid of his love child though.
We are stuck with Gundogan. No one is going to match his wages. it was terrible decision to hand him new deal.Logic could dictate that we raise some cash by getting rid of Gundogan, who we may still be able to get a decent fee for before he hits his 30s, and then bring in Aaour for the very decent price he's going for at only 22 years of age.

We handed Gundogan a new and improved deal last year when we should have just shaken his hand and got what we could at the time.
He's not going to get a better deal at his age playing anywhere else.

Silly mistake.
