I think Rodgers has done a good job at Leicester. Games like that can change very quickly. I remember thinking at 1-0 up and with very little threat from Leicester we really should have got that second goal. We didn't and then getting a pen just before half time gave them the impetus for the second half. We quickly ran out of ideas and they exposed our weaknesses with ease. Rodgers was never gonna go toe to toe but his team has the quality to hurt us when they have the ball and break quickly - and so it proved.
Rodgers is a good manager up to April , he has proved at Liverpool and Leicester that his team do not have the mentality to win things , if the season finished at Easter every season Rodgers would be a top manager.

Thank God we don't come up against coaches as astute as Bodgers every week. He's a slime-ball but adapts and makes the best of what he has available.

Ole at the wheel doing 6 points vs us last season in PL. That 6 points is why they finished in CL place. Let that sink in.
I dont really give a t#ss where Utd finish as long as its below us, which it was. We also won the most important derby which meant we ended up with a trophy.

We were poor and looked vulnerable during Leicester's microscopic number of attacks, but we outplayed them albeit they scored two very good goals. Three split second brain fades for the pens. Mine tooThe root cause of this was starting Mahrez. We have to change our game plan / tactics to accommodate a player with a very individual style. It worked when he played for Leicester as they played the game on the break looking for him and vardy to finish We don’t play that way, we play as a team and hunt as a pack. If Mahrez has a role for us it’s impact player coming off the bench when we need something different, not the false 9 role. I wish it didn’t but my heart sinks and confidence drains whenever I see his name in the starting line up.
And coaches that have assembled their squads for far less than what Pep has spent. So what does that say about Pep, our coaches and recruitment staff?Pep is getting outdone by coaches of a lot less ability than Rodgers
