The Conservative Party

Those polls are pretty scary. I think Johnson is a ****, he is fucking hopeless at the job, he is a lazy lying waste of space, but the Tories are ruthless and there is a good chance Johnson will be gone next year...…..then we might be faced with somebody even worse than him such as that odious toady cretin Gove. Now I really do fucking hate that ****, what a horrible weasel mouthed twat Gove is.

They'll be back to putting a "nice" electable front man in to make them the "nice and not Boris" party. Behind the scenes still the same old establishment.
Rishi being positioned is how it looks to me. Gove Patel JRM and co steering behind.

Are you trying to ruin my sunday.

So here it comes guys - Cummings own re-write of Mein Kampf will be the only text book allowed at this rate - going to be interesting to see how limited the education in England becomes compared with that which will be offered in the other home nations

Are you trying to ruin my sunday.

as bad as that might be for you I think other events have comprehensively ruined all our Sundays...........and Mondays and Tuesday will be a bit of a toughie too. If possible you should work from home is the Govt advice - after this afternoon even if the world was a fucking peach of a situation at the moment those who could would be working at home tomorrow.....

what has to be understood is Johnson and ministers are fucking shit scared of this happening - they are intellectually incapable of coping with it and prefer to hide and not be interviewed because they are weak shallow individuals....

Two party governing and governments not giving a shit because they know "well it's us or them" is what has got us and the world into this mess. America is the same. The tories are a disgrace and look after their own. Always have, always will. No matter what virtue signalling they do to get into no.10.

I'd argue where we are at the moment is the conclusion of about 40 years of people persuading other people that some folk claiming they had their best interests in hand by pointing out that the other side were out to get them is the problem.

So folk who had the representation of people who were looking out for them were persuaded by others that in fact they were trying to fuck them over by seeing to it that fairness was at the heart of public and political policy. Why should you support someone who is unemployed? They are feckless and workshy and milking you. Why should you accept immigrants? They are undercutting your wage whilst doing jobs that you won't do and being paid the minimum wage? Lets sell all the council houses to tenants at a reduced cost but don't replace them as that affects the resale values.

And here we are now - loads of those folk about to experience the welfare state - universal credit - housing benefit and so on. What they are going to experience is the product of one of those two party's actions - then there are all those folk who face another 6 months with no support from the state. I wonder how as a Tory MP you'd feel now? Those new Blue Wall MP's who thought they ad a season ticket to the Westminster Gravy Train.... and you look to your leader.....wow - must be so inspirational.......Taxi for Johnson

Fucking astonishing. She is scary.

Not particularly. Or yes she is, but not for this reason.

Governments consider thousands of different ideas for solutions and some are more unrealistic than others. Australia also uses this system and has done for 40 years, it just makes for a funnier headline. Joe vs the Volcano comes to mind if you've seen that film.

Why she's scary is because she's an idiot. She is part of a milquetoast barely conservative government that she is pushing to the right, not understanding that beyond the horizon that she is so faithfully galloping the troops towards is an angry mob that will hang her from a lamppost in the middle of Parliament Square for the colour of her skin and national status when she reaches them.

She either doesn't understand that there is a far right element in British politics that is more than happy for her to march her party more in line with their values, or she does understand it and her political career is in fact one extremely long and drawn out suicide attempt.

Not to suggest that anti-immigration is akin to the far right, of course, just that this isn't her only horse in the stable as far as moving to the far right is concerned.

She is more of the libertarian right in my opinion. Equally dangerous fuckwittery to that of the mindless morons of the far right. She co-wrote Britannia unchained which was an outright attack on the working class work ethic, hardly surprising given her background in public relations for the tobacco industry. She explicitly said that the welfare state should be reduced and working conditions in the UK should be akin to those in Singapore and other far east sweatshops. She is dangerous, very dangerous for the average working person and she is typical of the direction the Tory party has taken since the One Nation days of Major.

How can you be libertarian and anti-immigration? I think people should be allowed to do what they want, unless it involves moving across borders?

I've noticed a lot of people who claim to be libertarian, and then when you look into it, they're just basic off-the-shelf right wingers.

It is one of the real contradictions of the libertarian right, they are anti libertarian on certain things. I always think of libertarianism as a creed of those who are being inherently selfish. They want a society that suits them, but not anyone else. Patel sticks out on this with immigration, a product of immigration welcomed to our country when escaping a despotic regime no longer wants to welcome people from despotic regimes. Classic case of I am alright Jack.
