The only bit of substance that matters mate is that City have turned down reasonable money for a player that doesn't want to be here, we don't need and one that can leave for nothing next season.
You can call it ignorance and disagree we me, but no argument put forward is going to convince me there's any sound business logic to it from City's POV. Especially when we're agreeing to let better players like Angelino go for the same amount (€18m buyout with Leipzig) after he's peformed at a much higher level and isn't in the last 9 months of his contract.
We give it the biggun about players being committed to the club and we're allowing a totally uncommitted player to continue with us.
