For what it's worth I to think he has done wonders for highlighting this problem he has used his position as a high profile footballer to good use. My only moan is I have met lots of people over the last year who give up their time, health, and money to help run food banks and kitchens etc without some much as a thank you from the general public.
If in 5 years time Rashford is still doing this charity work than by all means award a MBE. In reality he has been doing it for 5 minutes and gets an award when people have been doing this work for decades without a thank you let alone a MBE, or even listen to by local and national government.
It's not Rashford that's the problem it's the awards being used to gain popularity by the government that's the problem. If anything Rashford himself has been used by the government.
I hope Rashford carries on the fight against poverty, and I think he will as he seems a nice caring lad.
