Hopefully once we go into tier 3 Burnham and co will keep battling for financial support.

It is the right thing to do, but holding up a move to tier 3 if that is what is needed was pissing me off.

A govt that has wasted billions and fucks up at every turn cannot give GM 5 million but it's Burnhams fault for not taking it. God people are dense.

Anyhow he will give the 60 million i presume unless he is going to shit on mancunians out of spite.

Karen will probably blame Burnham for that as well

So 162 UK hospital deaths. It was 106 deaths a week ago. All settings later were 143. 99 is the actual number who died on that day so far.

Oh we did have them! During the 1st wave, not over summer.
Now restrictions of home guests, party guests at home and outdoors are coming in place locally.

Merkel has put it straight last Friday: we have to reduce all non necessary contacts! She's a scientist and she knows what exponential growth means over time. She is bang on. Many just don't want to accept facts as facts.

We mainly have identified middle-aged parties as the biggest concern momentarily. Everyone wants to avoid a 2nd lockdown, but when numbers go steep we will see regional lockdowns. And we even don't have November! If we want a happy Xmas with family we should be tough fuckers now and show we can reduce contacts in a smart way.

We need to invent more creative covid-adapted solutions to be happy and we have to tell the people, cause not everyone is creative and smart, and that's ok. We have to learn to live with this virus.
 
3517 cases from the three nations (I think a record) v 2924 last week. Again the increase week to week still is not large. So the slowing of the increase in case numbers is still potentually happening.

17,234 was the total after England cases added last week.

bit it will be in time. That is certain. A delay to going into tier 3 has cost lives, that cannot he argued??

Aren't the cases dropping?

Tier 3 will do jack shit. 3% of increases in hospitality in the last week, 28% schools and unis 27% in care homes.

Only people with blood on their hands are in government if we want to go down that route.
