Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

It's so reactionary, it always is. What if we turned around things and won the league and UCL? It's fucking October!

And what if we don't and it's two seasons of abject, dross football with Pep stubbornly refusing to accept managers have worked him out.

Our reign during his peak, Centurions/Quad back to back, was insane. However, I don’t think anyone of us would have predicted that we would have had 2 stellar seasons under him and 3 utter dog shit ones. Insane peak but if we carry on like we have been doing I think I’ll end up being ultimately disappointed.

I'm not saying he is untouchable, but it is still early days and we aren't going to replace him in the middle of the season. It wouldn't help anything.

It’s getting to the point where it isn’t though is it. This has been brewing for a while now and he still makes the same choices and poor performances and results keep coming.

Pep won't be sacked because we are respectful to the memories he has given us. But I can clearly see this being his last season.

Not many people that want Pep sacked suggesting a better manager. You know...like someone who has won more.

I'll look out for the plan. I'm sure it's coming...

He needs to come out and say what he is gonna do urgently.

This uncertainty is causing the players playing shit too.

Mahrez might as well be thinking Pep is off soon and new manager might favour him and can get away with horrible displays until then.

Have a bad feeling it all hinges on a 35 yeard old Messi, what he is gonna do. If he wants to come only next summer he will commit, otherwise not.

Should be a long list of managers that other reactionary clubs have gone through. Quique Sanchez Flores anyone?

Why? Cause people are seriously starting to get pissed of with peps choices? They are costing us week after week and at some point he has to be questioned.
If Dias had headed that Gundogan cross or Sterling slotted home that 1v1, people wouldn’t be mentioning Pep

There is no way it hinges on messi.

For messi, it maybe does, not for us or pep.

Possibly true but that would be the wrong decision.

City come first and he's living off the 17/18 season unfortunately. We can't be the next Arsenal, clinging onto Wenger because of past achievements.

The relevant question is, does he have a plan to win things in the future and seeing Gundogan/Rodri in midfield suggests to me that the plan he has will definitely not work.

You don’t know what he sees in training. He picks the teams and it’s up to the players to show their worth.

They would though, if we had won that 2-1, the team was all wrong. There's no excuse for picking out of form players, then even worse sticking with them for the full 90. I don't want him sacked, far from it in fact. But people are rightly gonna be getting annoyed with some of the strange decisions he's making, like he has to prove something.
