Didn't want to say it, but yeah.
King can play across all three positions of the front line. I actually rate him. Ok he's not the 'big' name forward we all dream of, but I think he's actually decent.
 
With Segio's injury record and age on top of this uncertainty over Jesus's injury we're really going to have to sign a striker in January unless Delap can show he's consistently top 6 Prem standard already.
 
So we must have known about this for a little while now, why not bring in some cover. Josh King could have done a job.
He'd have been cheap enough too and would have been an easy player to sell on if we needed to further down the line.
Blimey we've burnt money on worse players than him.

How can he do that when he s sitting on the bench , no chance , Pep prefers Sterling as CF see subs yesterday

A physical targetman would make chances easier to create - we currently have to be pinpoint precise, because we don’t have the stature in the box to compete for speculative balls. That’s forcing us into the dull overplaying in the final third, rather than creating chaos for the opposition to defend.

We have a huge physical unit in Doyle sat on the bench. Yes he is young but he has the build to bully defenders which (sergio apart) is something we lack as the rest of the front line are lightweight

He should get more game time in my eyes, sergio and gabby out, stick Doyle in the middle with Torres and Sterling either side

You are getting Doyle mixed up with Delap.
 
Forward, cdm, lb and a AM is needed. 4 major areas require serious investment. Even with the finance, can the board deliver? Not if recent buys are any indication.
 
We should consider Jimenez from Wolves. Just scored a decent goal v Newcastle. He’s got the physical attributes and is proven in the premiership.
