Germany are looking at shutting down their pubs and resturants , must be something in it

got to be seen to be doing something so do the easy thing.

I see Nottingham is going into Tier 3 on Thursday now.

Its cases have been falling.

Past few days are: 314, 247, 244, 203, 239, 194, 198.

Testing is so unreliable , everyone is more alert to admissions, icu beds and deaths i would imagine

She is all about the economy , she wont be doing anything not needed , as i posted earlier , lots of countries are going into some form of lockdown, france have lost control of it according to one of their top guys , surging all over america , i would think now is the time the second wave deniers give it up and accept that measures have to be taken. It is not even november yet , the worst is yet to come

Germany were the leaders not followers , makes sense that lots of people in small venues without masks getting pissed is going to be loved by covid , it wants people close together, breathing and touching each other , leaving virus on the surfaces in the loo etc

well take the measures stop pretending closing pubs will solve the Covid crisis cos it won’t.

Inchy is probably a non mask wearing Covid deniar, I concur with what @Psychedelic Casual and @Gorton_Tubster say, pissed off with seeing young and middle aged people shopping without a mask in my 2M safe space, its not difficult to understand.

Excuse me, I neither deny Covid exists or refuse to wear a mask, in fact I have one in a couple of different coats and one in the car, I also gave hand sanitizer in my car too.
I’m actually a believer that we’re doing more harm than good with closing everything down but as usual if you go against certain people on here you’re drowned out by the mob.
You lot waiting for the vaccine to save you and return to normal what happens when it doesn’t materialise? Keep fucking the economy up for years?

A supervisor i know who worked on a site in the city centre died at the weekend. He was in a coma and had covid/pneumonia. The plug was pulled and later past away only 62. R.I.P Pete

in all seriousness I don’t believe the stats myself however it’s that widespread atm I can’t see it having that much of an impact and if the stats are true then it will have hardly any impact whatsoever which raises the question, what next?

I don’t actually think there is much more that can be locked down. Everywhere is so quiet anyway

2 out of the 10 confirmed cases at our workplace were asymptomatic apparently.

Not what the stats show. (3-4% of transmissions from pubs)

Not just these stats. They cannot even provide us with their theory linking these cases to super spreading events or indeed any proof at all.
Common sense says if there is a curfew then when the places empty new case events will occur.
Common sense also says that people who want to meet someone in a pub and can't then they will meet each other in each others homes they are more likely to pass the disease on than in an environment that is structured to reduce transmission like a pub WITH table service and having to wear a mask when you get up from your seat.
Like with their reluctance on masks to see the Common sense of it. They are effing clueless.
The rule of six is also probably a waste of time as research is starting to show.
If 80% of cases come from supersread events then limit numbers in places and limit the number if different places a person can visit in a day to slow the spread.
But no - Dr Gloom and Mr Doom think enjoyment is the root of all evil.
Oh and if the evidence existed I wouldn't be having a pop.
Science is all about theory backed by evidence. They have a set of theories but no evidence to back them up. They got it so wrong with masks at the start that my faith in their pronouncements is reducing with each day they fail to produce the evidence.
