What a brilliant double act and such a sad loss. My two girls loved watching them in panto at Crewe Lyceum at Christmas time.

R.I.P Bobby loved watching Cannon and Ball on their TV shows, saw them at the Golden Garter late 1970s, very funny,how many of us used to copy his catchphrase Rock On.

I've seen a few comedians live over the years. many just weren't anywhere near as funny live as on TV, including people like Manning, Frank Carson, Rory Bremner and others. But the two who really were just as good, if not better, live were Morecambe & Wise and Cannon & Ball.

He used to pop into the pub occasionally when my Mum was the tenant at in the 80’s... the Pineapple in Ashton..

I always had a soft spot for Bobby, whether as a comic or actor.
Always came across as a genuinely nice guy (someone's now going to tell me he's a Rag).
