Ake too is a great signing imo. Those two plus Laporte, Stones, is the strongest cb squad in football. A left back & some legs in midfield= sorted for years.

A club needs 4 quality centre halves,we have that now and more.If Stones is happy to stay and be a part of the squad,then i see no reason to push him out.

THB needs a loan.

He’s been a rock so far. Even with his exorbitant fee, it’s hard not to be impressed by the start he’s made. Looks like future captain material too.

We've got Ake for that. Rodri can also play there while Dinho/Gundo/Doyle covers Rodri's DM position.

I didn't know much about him before he came so when it looked like koulibaly, kounde or dias I had him as last choice of the 3. Its only a few games in for him but taking the No 3 shirt kinda told you what kind of personality he has. Straight in and takes the shirt of probably our most influential player since I've supported city for 35 years +. That takes massive testies same with torres. This guy looks leadership material. Doesnt take crazy chances and doesnt shirk the physical battles, if anything he looks like he enjoys a battle. Mega impressed, this has the potential to be the best centre half partnership in Europe.

I don't think we would be.He's a level above EDS but not quite first team ready.A loan to the Championship would be great and would benefit him far more than the risk of stagnation that often happens at his current level.

I don't agree, at least not quite yet. He is a player who is training with the first team and gaining some occasional minutes. I hope he makes it with us though as he looks like a talent. It is such a tough call with loans in selecting the right club who will play and develop him in the right way; the call for B teams grows!

Makes the right decisions, everyone knows we like to play out from the back, however there were times today he just hoofed it clear at the correct moments - very impressive so far, and looks promising as a partnership with Laporte.
