Okay, cool. The two Georgia senator battles go to a run off in January. Expect the democrats to show up for that, the campaigning in Georgia for democrats has been phenomenal in large part due to Stacey Abrams. They'll probably tie it up with Vice-president elect Harris having the final say.
Cheers Doc!! Thanks for the kind message. I have to say the last number of years these threads have been a real salve. I don’t post about politics anywhere else. I did it here because I needed a regular sanity check from those not as embroiled in the mire, and both more objective and broad-minded. Anyway this has never been about politics for me. I was very happy to have so much support and so many who feel the way you do. Once this fucking piece of shit has his bags packed I’d wager I’ll rarely write about Biden and Harris. I hope Trump and especially his kids, toadies and enablers are punished if they’ve committed crimes, and lose influence if they haven’t, and I expect to keep writing about that! I always saw him as an incredible danger and he has proved himself that.Brilliant mate. I have been quite emotionally invested in all this but you have had to actually live through this. I know that are far worse regimes across the globe but the fact that this has been happening in America, supposedly the the land of the free and the home of the brave makes it a harder watch in some ways because we are in the midst of it. Stuff that happens to an unfamiliar society thousands of miles away is just that but put those same traits in leaders and all of a sudden it seems that democracy has been savaged over the last four years.
I have been genuinely appalled by what I have seen over the last four years and I am so p[leased for you Carl together with all your fellow Americans that you now have some chance at normality.
Oh, as an aside, to all those false equivalencers out there, you are wrong. There simply is no comparison.
Enjoy your Pliny the Elder mate.
Just seemed weird as it’s was literally a “congratulations Joe and Kamala” tweet.Yes, I'd just seen that since. I saw what was obviously a clipped version.
You can't lie about something you don't know.
Hopefully. The risk is complacency followed by a backlash from angry right wingers. The two Georgia senator battles go to a run off in January. He will be at his new hotel in Sochi, Russia. So genuine question will Trump stand on the podium when Joe is sworn in on Inauguration Day.
I’d never dare were it not for such good news!I bet they were absolutely delighted you did that!
*correction, first dog(s)

No chance. Apparently 5 times the former president has not taken part in the inauguration - I don't know if that includes assassinated presidents, but the BBC were making out this would be less of a big deal than refusing to concede.
He'll put Fauci in charge of the USPS as a sidelinePlus if you believe the amount of votes that went missing because of the USPS they might have been a lot closer. A lot of mail ins never arrived in Florida and I have a feeling that'll be investigated when Biden takes office, Florida would have been a lot closer.
Remember the daily briefings Kaz, (which were supposed to be about covid), and his regular personal abuse of female reporters?Remember that crowd at the church outside the white house being gassed and attacked so that dick could go across for that photo op ,that was disgusting
