Liverpool (H) - Post-Match Thread

was thinking about the comments after yesterday draw and lots have said we will not win the title this season as we are just not good enough ?? its a fair comment after 7 games and i can understand the feeling that we are just not firing at the moment

but this season is like know other and i see it as the turtle and the hare and nobody wins until the finishing line is crossed. somebody puts 10 to 15 wins together in the run in will win the title this season. so city are still in with a big big chance. there is only 2 teams good enough and big enough to do that. so am still feeling good about our chances

Liverpool have a major injury problem at the back much like ours last season. so they will be tested and will drop points. also after yesterday draw they looked leggy after 55 minutes and they was happy to sit back and try and nick a goal on the break ? yes they did look good in first 20 minutes. but city did not crumble and took the game to liverpool the KDB pen miss was a blow ? but like i said he wins us many more games then losing or drawing them
 
I'll take the point, even at home with a Riyad de Bruyne penalty, against a 12 cheating dipper cunts. PigMOB instructed by Parry are blatantly obvious.
Klipperty's Tactical/Systematic Diving would've been laughed at by now had Kev not missed it.

We are rebuilding after the gradual loss of our world class players. Take Kompany, Silva and Aguero out of any side and their level would drop and I'd add to that Toure and the pace, goal threat and power of Sane.

Unfortunately Rodri, Bernardo and Gundogan just aren't at the same level. Dias and Torres look promising additions and Cancelo is looking better after an underwhelming first season. In my opinion we still need a world class defensive midfield player, creative midfield and a striker to get back to the very top level.

If you were the opposition looking at Kompany, Toure, Silva, Aguero and Sane lining up against you you'd feel real fear. Our lineup now just doesn't have that aura.
 
The image on the City OS showing Gabby between two Dippers? Where's the ball? Has it gone into the Dipper net? But just look at the attempt by the Territorial Army Arsonist to save the day - looks like a last gasp lunge down the back of his calf?

In previous seasons our results against each other decided titles and momentum. Not this year. Both dropped plenty of points already and that will only continue.

When we attacked it was a sea of red behind the ball and pass / pass/ pass.....at one point we had a throw in near their corner flag and three passes later Eddie had the ball.

On another note - Kyle Walker. I think he has had a good season so far and yesterday was an off day. Doesn't make him shit, but he is 30 - we should be looking at his successor soon and not wait until he's finished before sorting it out.

It's questions like this that result in the people who ask them disappearing to Siberia.

If I were you I'd bury my head in the sand and accept that the Liverpool player(s) did nothing wrong and if anything Jesus should be investigated for what appears to be in the picture a clear lunge on poor Matip.
 
I've got to be honest I'm totally disinterested with this season. No fans, injuries and VAR ruin it for me.
The authorities should have scrapped the season until the world is back to some normality.
I wont be going back to the stadium.

It would appear gabby has cheated and stuck the ball down the back of his sock.
 
I've said this before so apologies if you've seen it. Rodri and Gundo together works in Champs League because the pace is slower and their technical skills are suited to the way most teams play. In the PL, the play is faster and more direct and as a pair they are too slow to turn and get the ball forward quickly so we can only afford one of them in the team (don't mind which one). Sadly Pep does not seem yet to trust Berny or Phil to play central midfield so we need someone else. That little Spanish guy used to do a great job, didn't he. No panic though, this is going to be a different season to previous years, all teams will drop points and Pep is right to say we need to be in the pack till March and then go for a big finish.

It’s better than nothing. I can’t say I’m overly excited by it but it’s a distraction at the weekends and for some people and in particular those who live on their own, it’s familiarity and comfort in difficult times.

Lots of querulous wet fanny wipes flapping all over the thread, and all of them 2@s know better than Pep, accusing him of cowardice and whatnot.
The fact that they are completely ignoring: the corrupt exertions of one dipper **** Pawson and his beloved divers, that make our lads cautious not to lose the game; proves them under covered rags or mickeys.
