Don't clubs insure their players against injuries? I’d read before that the FAs compensate clubs if a player gets injured on international duty, but I’ve never heard of them paying the full wage of a player before.

France would be bankrupt if the dabber ever got injured for them.

I think FIFA cover the wages up to £130,000 a week, not the national FA.
