I`ve seen players who flit in and out of a game.I`m talking about his overall performance irrespective of those stats. Are you asking that besides his two goals and one assist if he had a good game?

It looks like we arguably have both the future of English and Spanish football on our books.
It'll be interesting to see how they develop compare to each other. Maybe they can get the best out of each other with a friendly (and healthy) bit of rivalry and competition between them?
Against the Dippers last season he gave Robertson a torrid time and his performance was excellent. Also against Wolves this season he was very good perhaps not at the same level as last night, but nonetheless still excelled. Why has Foden not been playing like that for us?
Very true. Against the dippers this season he was very quiet though.Against the Dippers last season he gave Robertson a torrid time and his performance was excellent. Also against Wolves this season he was very good perhaps not at the same level as last night, but nonetheless still excelled.

(he was benched ;-))Well, everyone was, really. And they were, after an initial ten-minute blitz. Two teams that are very wary of each other.
Him and DeBruyne both?Foden has to go for it & 'do' stuff, in order to be worth selecting imo.
The Foden who stands in front of everybody asking for the ball, then, if they pass it to him, gives it back to them, is a waste of time. That's as if he's trying to impress football brains by being a Gundogan & prove how he doesn't waste the ball. Also he sometimes appears to want to be 'in between the lines', like DS but the huge difference is that DS has a reason for being there, where as Foden doesn't.
What he should be doing, imo, is just saying 'fuck all that' & being Foden. When he just plays football, he's a genius level player. Fuck doing all the tika taka shite just for the sake of it, run at people, play 1-2s pass & shoot, the aimless ball farting will come naturally anyhow, no need to manufacture it.
Try stuff & make things happen.
KDB is just in need of a rest imo, which changes the thinking of what we can & can't do.Him and DeBruyne both?
I kind of agree but would probably need Phil to play wide forward rather than alongside Kev.

HahahahaVery true, should have been shouting louder from the bench!
That won’t be what gets him in the team in his best position (central) under Pep. He’d be better playing it safe for the majority of games unlike the Leeds and Porto games otherwise Pep will think he’s not up to playing centrally yet. One of Silva’s greatest strengths was actually playing it safe the majority of games and was a reason he could dictate games so well. Prime Toure also rarely wasted the ball. KDB on the other hand rolls the dice most of the time he has it and will often give it away but will always produce great passes/assists to make it worth while. Big ask to have 2 centrally constantly doing that though especially for Pep.Foden has to go for it & 'do' stuff, in order to be worth selecting imo.
