Our tactics and personal have changed that's why we struggle to break the bus down. Ditch this inverted wingers bollocks and get back to stretching defences and creating a bit of space to work in centrally, and we will see an improvement, carry on as we are and top 4 will be a real struggle.

It plays into the opposition's hands imo, makes everything too narrow which is great for a parked bus as the full backs can really tuck in, it's become a real pattern of our games that there is zero space centrally game in game out, we need to get back to width and create some space inside, wouldn't mind Phil on the left tbh. Cancelo being a right footed LB just adds to the problem of everything coming inside into traffic, does my head in watching it, and it must be easy to defend against.

Can anyone remember the UK broadcasters take, when Sterling tripped over the turf and got a penalty without asking for one, in a CL game? I know the rival fans went on about him being a cheat for weeks after, so they couldn't have defended his corner much. The narrative is always different for City, Silva and Aguero got kicked to peices in their primes and because they didn't get the fouls when they did go down, the narrative was, they go down too easy(so called divers from opposition bell-ends, laughably). Even for tactical fouls or any committed challenges that don't come off, they're calling for yellow cards for us immediately and applauding it for the opposition. It's infuriating how blatant they are with it. They know what they're doing and they know they'll get away with it, time and time again. This gives way to referees applying double standards during games, because their actions are justified by the biased commentary teams.

I've been done with Sky ever since they campaigned for Aguero to receive a retrospective ban, for an elbow that didn't connect, as he flailed his arm back in a tussle against a West Ham player in 2016. The player had his hands in Aguero's face, just before it, so it was obviously a reaction to bat the oppositions arm away from his face, but Sky acted obtuse about that part of it. They went with the reasoning that: "You just can't have your elbow out like that at all, whether you mean it or not". In 2015, Silva had to be taken off the pitch after an elbow to the face(suspected fracture, until he got to hospital), against West Ham funnily enough, the ref saw it, no red card, no outrage from Sly Sports. 4 years after the Sly Aguero campaign, we are still waiting for an example of them doing the same for a United or Liverpool player, who have done much worse and got away with it(Fellani and Mané in particular, have had multiple). They're just bullshitters and anyone who believes that Sly would have done the same for a United or Liverpool player, is as gullible as can be. That was all about getting Aguero sidelined for the upcoming derby. The broadcasters have way too much influence on football and we know who their favourites are.

A lot of fans just repeat what they hear on sky or read in the paper, including a lot of the doom mongers on here. As I said earlier, they built up the Mourinho is better than Pep narrative in the week leading up to the game, there were articles, debates across social media ect all with a heavy Mourinho slant. It's all very deliberate, fuelling the tribal bullshit. Whoever lost that game, was in for a rough ride this week, they made sure of it.

It got very personal very quickly before I even realised what was going on. Trying to explain that I have no bearing on the actions of a Portuguese millionaire who lives in another city in another country, didn’t seem to register. This is just one instance of many that I’m just so sick and tired of.

And it all stems from media bias, and perception being the absolute truth in these very fucking shallow times.

The same person started another row saying Melwood was up there if not better than the Ethiad campus... oh the furlough was just a joke she tells me; they never let anyone go or intended to take the money blah blah blah.

You just have to laugh, though it’s getting harder and harder.

She also told me Liverpool pay their women’s team the highest wages in women’s football cos they’re a top team with great backing. I reminded her it was until quiet recently that the liVARpuddle women’s team would wear the men’s hand me downs on match day.

It’s gotten to the point I refuse to engage with her on all football matters these days. she just regurgitates the sky sports 15min news reel and the back page of the sun.

I was scolded another time, for bringing the Sun newspaper into it. It was very disrespectful of me to suggest a pool fan would read the Sun after how they’ve treated the families of the 96....

The double standards and how the red twats believe it to be true and worthy of their standing, is almost funny if you’re watching on, as an outsider capable of viewing with any impartiality.

Yep, they had a big part in getting clubs to agree to the creation of the Premier League too. I'm sure everyone's read about Gregg Dyke and Rick Parry's part but nobody should overlook the broadcasters part in it. The 'big sky 3' was part of their design, they created those new super rich clubs in the 90s, it's what they wanted. The big boss wanted to buy United and got blocked, towards the end of the 90s, due to a conflict of interest.

I believe that the broadcasters are every bit as much in favour of keeping the status quo as the cartel clubs are. Earlier today, I went back to watch Sky's reaction to the CAS verdict, it might be just me reading into it, but they almost looked in shock in the aftermath of the announcement and not the good kind. They read out that article 56 had been contravened and lazily didn't bother to find out what article 56 was. They suggested that CAS just thought the 2 year ban was too harsh and 10m Euro's should be enough punishment. Which misled all the opposition fans who tuned in for the coverage. The guest they had on, sports lawyer Daniel Geey, explained it perfectly to his credit(exonerated on the substantive breaches) but nobody seemed to listen to him.

At least now we've gone straight back to moaning about what's happening on the pitch, instead of all that crap that went on for way too long. That's another thing that could have affected our players and manager last season.

I'm sure you're not alone in those experiences. The media have made City's owner, managers, players and fans fair game for any sort of hostility.

Our owner is wrong for investing in an asset and making it hugely successful and self sustaining.

Pep's wrong for choosing City, he went from being idolised, to being 'overrated' and a 'chequebook manager', even compared to the original checkbook manager Mourinho.

The players are wrong for wanting to come to one of the best run clubs, with some of the best facilities in world football, playing some of the best football in world, with some of the best players in the world, with the chance to win silverware.

The fans are wrong for supporting their club through the FFP stitch-up and the human rights breaches in the UAE(and oddly Saudi Arabi's and Qatar's too in some cases) that have nothing to do with Manchester City or our owner directly.

Go back to how these same media mouthpieces spoke of Pep while at Barca and Bayern, before they learned that he was thinking of heading to City and spot the difference.

If Messi does join City, they'll try and tarnish his legacy with the same treatment, no matter if he exceeds expectations or not. They'll just close their eyes and go through the excuses, waffling about Ronaldo, "Messi has better players around him, the league was more competitive back then, he's overrated for me...".
