I only go to the games with my daughter and 2 grandsons and wouldn't dream of going without them so I guess we won't be going back until its all clear.
I am expecting there will be a direct correlation with the vaccination, and football fans en mass being allowed back in to Stadiums, and travelling abroad etc.
I think we can all see this coming.
Good Lord man, Shawly that's just not cricket is it?!1400 games under my belt, but found that I'm living within my means and didn't really miss the football experience until the Leeds game, when the weather was awful,(which I always prefer)
We spent the.morning in B&Q in Macclesfield for the first time in my life, and then a pet shop in Poynton for the first time in my life
We sat in Costa Coffee, and whilst observing all the happy families, it suddenly dawned that this is what normal people do.
It was only 1pm, but I found myself yearning for a pint in the Peacock or the Salter (if they're still.goimg), the tension, the confrontational attitude of the.locals, the horseshit, and above all, sharing the highs and.lows of supporting Manchester City with the same.faces, many of whom I recognise, but don't know personally,.
The best example was during the summer when I umpired a cricket match in Stretford ,and the Non Striker, turned to me and.politely.enquired,
You're a big City fan aren't you?
If only the.bowler.kmew when I kept turning down his LBW appeals.
Up.the Blues!!!!¡
I see what you did there, but I'll just deny everything.Good Lord man, Shawly that's just not cricket is it?!
Every single one of them should boycottChelsea charging fans £75 for their first game with fans. Proof if ever needed that clubs don't really give two hoots for the fans. We're all losing our jobs, Christmas is approaching but no season of goodwill from Chelsea
You can have a pint. But you have to be sat down. But not in your seat. Everyone Got it ...?
Corporate areas yes but not necessarily the corporate offer for corporate clients....So corporate it is then as there's few if any seats in most stadiums away from corporate areas.
If the Astra/Oxford vaccine is approved as well, I think there is a real chance of full crowds back for April/MayGood news about the vaccine today.. they’re talking about getting through this in spring. They’ll still be a lot of football to be played then. Do people think we will see full stadiums or at least a big capacity full towards the end of the season?
Can’t see 50% being an option as it would have people sat next to each other, think the best we’ll get as a restricted crowd is 25-30%. From that it will jump to full crowds when we can.Don't think we'll get to 100%, but think we can get to 30-50% by the end of the season
50% in theory leaves every other seat free, and I think they're allowing up to 50% from today (if the ground holds less than 4,000 in tier 2 or 8,000 in tier 1). Its up to 50% or capped at 4k, 2k, or 0 depending on the tier. I think it depends on plans/layout of each venue though. Can’t see 50% being an option as it would have people sat next to each other, think the best we’ll get as a restricted crowd is 25-30%. It does leave every other seat free but how big are the seats? I’d guess about 50cm. As you say though the biggest issue is organising movement in and out, toilets, early leavers etc squeezing their way down the seats to the ailes.50% in theory leaves every other seat free, and I think they're allowing up to 50% from today (if the ground holds less than 4,000 in tier 2 or 8,000 in tier 1). The issue isn't the stadium, its how you organise getting 25-30k in and out of the ground, but the increases are likely to be incremental to control that.
