Best player today, a wing playmaker as Pep requires it seems.

Bernardo had that in moments as well, just not to the frequency that Foden showed.

Should have had an assist.

Wish he was allowed to take the freekicks. Great delivery on him from corners.

Would like him to play more centrally.

Pep says "what a player."

He's definitely on the bench on Saturday.

it’s time to move him on the right wing

He is not Sane Pep, play Foden where he suits best and he will deliver more goals and assists

Frustrating when i see a Pep team sheet and Foden isnt on it , obviously we do not see the fitness/medical figures or issue or see him in training , but as a layman and watching his performances on the pitch i cannot understand why he doesnt start more games
Perhaps at just 20 years old Pep doesnt want to burn him out , it happened to Shrek and he was finished before his 30th birthday , the club probably playing the long game and when he reaches 21/22 i think he becomes undroppable and the best English player of his generation.

Foden has more running and desire in him than any other player. Needs more starts I say and looks hungry to play every game. Kev is looking tired and Bernardo is out of form so it seems a no brainer to start Phil in midfield right now.
Agreed about Phil, should be an automatic pick,we just look more lively and more threatening when he's in the team.
Bernardo looks better too,when,controversially.....KDB isn't in the team.I think his game suffers because of Kev's presence and subsequently the space he's denied, also because of the unnatural role he is asked to perform.

Always lifts the games he plays but still running out of steam over a full 90 at times. Not surprised with his high intensity style. Needs either a touch more stamina or manage his game a touch more carefully. Perhaps a dose of asthma may help him ;-)

If I was Foden I'd be pissed off and knocking on Peps door why he didnt play against Fulham.

He'll play in a dead rubber against Marseille and then likely benched against Utd.

Nobody knows whats going on behind closed doors but Pep has been very clear he is picking players in the best form, at the moment who does Pep drop?

Pep is not going to play him where Rodri and Gundogan are, KDB is the first name on the sheet and Mahrez is in form at the moment.

But Foden’s good form keeps getting him dropped.

It’s squad management. Foden was never playing ahead of Mahrez today after his hat trick last week. We’ve got a squad full of good footballers, Foden isn’t going to start every match.

Foden is clearly in better form than Jesus and Sterling. It's frustrating to see him not play not because he's one of our own but because he's genuinely so exciting to watch.
