TV Series

What’s Narcos Mexico like anyone?

I’m coming towards the end of series 3 of the original Narcos. I miss the personality that Escobar gave the first two series, but the third is still very good.
I thought it was very good.

Obviously the cast is mainly very different, but it starts from an earlier point in time, so there are a few guest appearances from some of the characters in the original Narcos, including Pablo Escobar and some of the Cali cartel.

Nice one matey. Thanks for taking the time to reply. That’s another few days of isolation sorted.

better than the original narcos, great tv
Christ. I’d say I’ll be on it tomorrow but the truth is that I’ll likely be 3/4 episodes deep tonight.

Since Monday, I’ve done 2 episodes of the Royle Family, one of the Office, a two hour documentary about wrestling, the original Karate Kid film, all 7 episodes of Maradona in Mexico, all 10 episodes of Narcos series 3, Wolves’s 2nd half against Chelsea and that shower of shite at the Etihad last night.

Edit: oh, and the He-Man episode of the Toys That Made Us.

The Bureau
French spy series, I'm enjoying this....
Based on real accounts and inspired by contemporary events, this French spy thriller follows the daily lives and missions of members of the country's external security service -- France's equivalent of the CIA. It focuses on intelligence officer Guillaume Debailly, code named "Malotru," who is mysteriously recalled to Paris after spending six years under cover in Syria. As he tries to re-connect with his daughter, ex-wife and colleagues, Debailly risks everything by resuming contact with his married lover, Nadia, who might have secrets of her own that jeopardize the agent.

Brilliant but I can't find SE03

It’s been really good so far. Last episode on Friday
Can you watch the whole of season one and then season two (when it finishes) in one go? I was going to subscribe to Disney binge watch it all and then cancel my subscription as there is nothing else on there that interests me - I'm a cheap skate :)

So I really thought her mother was a well drawn and acted character so that was a bit of a gap. I found her sudden deterioration following her second defeat by the Russian puzzling and a little unbelievable. In addition, just not that much of a story development compared to the first three episodes. The actor that plays Meg is obviously a rising star and very good. Its beautifully made and shot and the soundtrack is superb.
Really? She loses the final because of a stupid mistake and her Mum dies during the tournament and you find her going off the rails unbelievable?
