Good to hear these things are being scenario-tested
But - WTF - Mid-December 2020!!!
I and others were saying 4 years ago that the No-Deal planning should have been a priority - but we had the hapless May in charge
FFS Remainers have been displeased with the UK government competence since 2016 - Leavers have a lot more reason to be pissed off IMO
Anyway, at least it looks like we are going to get a genuine Brexit after all - which was way beyond my expectations 4 years ago and certainly 2 years ago
So - HNY ahead - even if there are a few months of inconveniences.
A few months of inconveniences? I fail to see why. I’m expecting everyone to prosper mightily as we don our cork hats and call our women ‘Sheila‘.
I hate to break it to you, but there will be a deal. No major economy doesn’t have a deal with its neighbours. Whether there is a deal this year or the next there will be a deal. It won’t be a great deal and there where will be lots of inconveniences for many months to come while we endeavour to negotiate back what we had, because again, that’s just the way the world works.
