Got sent this by my parents who had been sent it from a relative.
My great grandfather photographed after recieving 5 shillings for bravery while stopping a runaway horse on Oldham Road, Platting in 1904.
There is a full account and picture in the police museum on newton st, which now I know this, will visit when it re-opens

When clearing out my late dads flat we found about 30 of these all different teams from the Sunday Chronicle. There doesnt seem to be a year on them :(

The light pollution from Thanet Earth you can see this from miles around. In the middle of the night it's so bright the whole area glows orange.

Fortunately travel within Malaysia is allowed. This is the beach at Batu Ferringhi ,Penang at our favourite beach bar
Was getting ready for work the other morning when I noticed the rising sun burning the mist off over the back of our house. Snapped this quick pick, the higher reaches of the river weaver snakes away along the treeline and under the mist to the right of the picture.
