Everton (A) | Game Postponed

Headline news on BBC news web page is "Toughen Rules to Avoid Covid Catastrophe". In the light of Sheffield United announcements of positive covid test results will the league be suspended before it's too late?

I doubt it. Evertons 3 points and uniteds league cup are more important to some people.
Everton were saved a hammering. Let's store it up for the daft twats. What a fucking pathetic statement from their club

Time to put a break on this and shut down football. Its clearly spreading the virus easily now. Time to stop.

Wow... proving yet again that they are utter scum

Its interesting just how many fans are happy for their club to win a league with teams being weakened by a pandemic. What ever happened to waiting to be the best by beating the best ?

I guess winning is at all costs nowadays even if your opponents have to field the under 11's.

Winning a league on the luck that your team didnt catch the virus and your opponents were weakened by a pandemic must surely be hollow ?

They were handed a title by var & Utd were handed a champions league place , also by var & they didn’t give two fucks.....we’re dealing with scum here never forget that

Gotta love those zany Scouse rogues, eh?
It’s generally accepted that it requires approximately 7 billion billion billion atoms to aggregate together in order make up an average human being.

Imagine being an atom travelling around the universe after the initial singularity of ‘The Big Bang’, one moment helping to form a new galaxy, the next being in a meteorite, then in a plant that grew to mature here on Earth before ending up in the body of the thick Scouse twat who was responsible for penning that load of garbage? I mean, how disappointed would you be?

Deary, deary me.. how low can the idiots at the other end of The East Lancs go?

Could you imagine this happened a lot later into the season and the dippers were in a title race with Everton? They’d be crying how unfair it was if we had to field a weakened side and Everton spanked us. These scum bags don’t care about a pandemic or people dying from a virus, only their football club getting an advantage in any way matters.

The silence at the PFA is deafening , you have a little fat twat on £2m a year who hasnt said a peep in the last 24 hours when his players/members are in danger of this escalating and out of control virus , what do the PFA actually do? What use are they if they cannot defend their members , they should have stepped in last week and stopped any tier 2 or 3 clubs playing fixtures in a virtual lockdown tier 4 area. But the majority of the PFA funding is provided by guess who ? The Premier league and F.A, Taylor wouldnt risk upsetting the apple cart and his fat wage packet , the shyster has no fucking morals or integrity , its all about the money.
The players are not a helpless group of victims. They could call a halt in the morning if they were of such a mind. Clearly they are still happy with the arrangements and find the level of risk acceptable. I agree it is all about money but hey the players, in the PL at least, get the lions share of it.

I can understand Everton Football Club wanting clarification of why the game was postponed; rules have to be followed and they have the right to ask why it was called off after all the preparations for the game that i presume go into game on any given day for any club - Id expect us to do the same as a club if it was the other way around.

I can understand supporters who were to be attending being disappointed to not be able to go to the game (I was disappointed that I didnt get to watch it on a stream last night)

Anything else from the twatteraty isnt worth the time it takes to read and is just some people creating issues for the sake of it and others jumping on board just to make themselves feel important.

Personally I think if we have 5 players/staff confirmed with Covid19 there is a fair chance others have got it as well but just havent had positive results.....therefore fair chance we would have spread it to everton players/staff etc. ....and therefor it was right that the game was called off. ....the tin hat brigade who think that we are buying the league just have nothing better to think about in their sad empty lives.
For me the only way of keeping the league going ti to reverto to complete clsoed doors for everyone - even then there is a risk to players/staff etc so there is a fair argument for the season to be closed down. ....clearly however, like in the broader world with this, there are other things (financial, mental etc etc) there are other things at play and they do need to be considered as well.

Bet you there is nowhere near the amount of outrage we got, just like with Newcastle people won't be bothered because it's the rational thing to do.
I'm actually surprised that there are people on twitter and forums claiming Fulham should be deducted points.
The usual garbage. If they can field 14 play them.
Its not broken metatarsals and groin strains these players have.
