Starmer has the lying American on the ropes now.
I thought he was doing brilliantly actually, until May of all people put him back in his box.Starmer has the lying American on the ropes now.
'look what you could have won' moment.Theresa May blaming this deal on Starmer for not voting for her better deal in 2019...
No need to keep filling the sump with pointless posts.I like to think this thread acts as a sort of sump allowing all of us idiots to fester in a contained space and keeping the rest of the forum clear of our nonsense - largely the reason it wasn't shut months ago.
Many on here - not meaning you - never understood the threat of the unfettered backstop that May would have committed the UK to - genuinely a vassal state outcome.I shudder at the fact that at one point, due to brexit fatigue, some of us, including me, were trying to find positives in the WA just to bring an end to the whole saga. Odin be praised for December 2019.
Agreed - some are probably shocked to find that there are two 8 O'Clocks in a dayMuddled and chaotic because they are unused to clocking in at that time of day
I just posted an article from an MSP - I suggest that you take it up with himPlease stop posting crap.
"They latched on to the issue of seed potato sales into Europe, without having done the research that showed that just five per cent of Scottish seed potato exports go to the EU "
My research suggests that, of all the seed potatoes exported from all the UK, a fifth is (was) Scottish potatoes going to the EU.
So if the Hitler supporting SNP vote against this deal, what deal are they in favour of?No one voting against this deal is voting for no deal.
If I'm on a jury and I vote not guilty I'm not saying that no one committed the crime.

"There's only one choice today, to vote for implementing this deal or to vote for no-deal. Those who vote no, vote for no-deal."
You didn't say he was a Tory. If it wasn't an overused word, I'd say your sycophancy now means you post stuff you think supports your view without any check on the rubbish within the posts. Like Johnson with the deal.I just posted an article from an MSP - I suggest that you take it up with him
You're right on the numbers, provided the sales to England / NI / Wales from Scotland aren't counted as exports from Scotland. Which would be the Scottish Nationalist view. Please stop posting crap.

I have always given full credit to Starmer, Corbyn, Soubry, Grieve, et al for their important role in getting us to where we are today.Theresa May blaming this deal on Starmer for not voting for her better deal in 2019...

As I see it the nationalists are as gutted as so many on here that the deal we were told for 4.5 years was simply impossible has been negotiated.
My own personal disappointment and only gripe with the deal is that I cannot see anywhere in it for providing us with a third world war which I was very much looking forward to after being promised it by Cameron and Osborne and many others on the remain side of the debate.
And little Nichola can complain as much as she wants. The Scottish people are not stupid. They know full well that independence would mean the cutting off of the English taxpayer funded teat they've been suckling on for so long.
The union will be just fine thank you.
So you don't think Starmer should have a viable walkaway option today?Another example of the value of a 'No-Deal option' in negotiations - and general management of affairs
What a difference to the dealings in the HoC of 15months ago
