The reason why Leeds were attacked by the media for having a go at her was that it might expose her to online trolls !!!!!
If she didnt spout shit she wouldnt be trolled. As you say, well done Leeds for defending themselves.

The ugly side of social media rears it's head again, on any given topic there seems to be abuse from any angle and viewpoint. That being said Carney being put right by Leeds isn't a bad thing, it's a response I would have liked to have seen from City everytime a journo or hanger-on talked badly about us in this way.

Carney doesn't deserve the incredible barrage of shit thrown at her, but she does deserve to have it pointed out to her that she's talking out of her arse.

That's how you react to a football match getting called off during a pandemic. The polar opposite to Everton's response, where the recovery of opposition players were not even in their thoughts!! I'm hope they will be happy when they get their 'full disclosure"...

Some of these social media accounts have huge audiences. Rob Harris's biased (and sometimes false) reporting on FFP for example is syndicated across the world to hundreds (perhaps thousands) of media organisations. He works for AP one of the biggest news agencies in the world. His coverage has caused huge damage to City's reputation and undermined us commercially. It's very disturbing when you consider he makes regular appearances on Al Jazeera (the propaganda channel for the Qatar regime)
Ignoring this sort of content has been a big mistake by City in my view.

Yep, Parry and Gill did very well in choosing Harris and Panja as their shills and mouthpieces given the global reach of their erstwhile employers

I feel sorry for fulham, about to get a nasty request from spuds to "clarify" events leading up to the postponement etc, every sourpuss "journalist" trolling the club left, right and centre, then the media/pundits piling in with talk of points deductions etc. All they have done is the right thing by these testing times trying to ensure safety for all and its not as if they can help it anyway.

Of course, when all this shite happens to them like it has for us, all the "no agenda" believers will come out to say I told you so, and and it all shows we are treated the same.

If it does not happen though, and fulham are treated with respect and understanding like I suspect they will be, then it will be another example of how important this thread is to a lot of people on here.

when you see how Spurs have reacted ( as you would expect ) it really pisses me of the way Everton behaved. I dont like tarring everyone with the same brush but they does seem to be the case for liverpool.

I wouldn't rejoin with a new name if somebody paid me, I miss the good ones I was following etc but not the rest.
