Funny, how quick they have reacted to my post last night.. ;)A new public awareness campaign has been launched, urging people to "stay at home" in an attempt to encourage the public to comply with lockdown rules.
It comes amid growing fears that people have not been observing social distancing rules, as case numbers surge, hospitals become swamped and deaths continue to rise.

Back in the eighties when they did the AIDS advert with the tombstone it scared everyone rigid , if ever there a time to have hard hitting adverts it is now , well october time really ,i expect we will get one asking people nicely to stay at home , i dont know why we are not going much harder with ads , show intensive care , show people struggling to breath, somethingFunny, how quick they have reacted to my post last night.. ;)
But honestly - do you all think THAT message has ANY effect at all?
That's why I think we have to show anyone what behaviour exactly is correct
and what is not.
Nobody listens to such a yawning statement anymore.
Following the rules is about human behaviour and we have to be very smart to out-think ourselves when we want to have a measurable positive effect.
Look Tubs it's inchy from the running thread..Shall we make a wish?He hates cyclists too.... but he’s a taxi driver so that’s to be expected
'Encourage' the public to comply with lockdown rules? How fucking lily-livered is that!?A new public awareness campaign has been launched, urging people to "stay at home" in an attempt to encourage the public to comply with lockdown rules.

There was an ICU consultant on 5 Live last night saying traditional NHS hospitals in London won’t have enough pressurised oxygen to take in greater numbers of seriously ill Covid patients very soon. Staffing is a very big issue like you say but the physical design and plumbing of hospitals may be forcing Nightingales into Covid use in London (based on what I listened to). As opposed to continue to try and expand ICU beds in existing hospitals. The scary thing is the nhs isn’t exactly top heavy with extra staff to cover these nightingale hospitals. How long before we are flying doctors and nurses in internationally to give the NHS a fighting chance in the next few weeks.
Apparently Wakefield covid ward is dead , so I been toldThere was an ICU consultant on 5 Live last night saying traditional NHS hospitals in London won’t have enough pressurised oxygen to take in greater numbers of seriously ill Covid patients very soon. London hospitals may also send some patients to Wakefield (Yorkshire) as there is likely to be capacity to take extra patients in West Yorkshire for a few more weeks.
we work in care homes and are tested now before we can enter, I not been to 1 yetJust been told by the Mrs her dad has covid. 14 of the 18 residents in his care home have caught it. With his health issues, it's a real concern that he has the strength to survive.

What further restrictions are they suggesting? The scientists are saying the lockdown is not at all restrictive enough. So I guess in 3 weeks time we’ll see a response to that when the figures have spiralled by enough for the government to react.
