Downing St aren't commenting if he cycled all the way there or not.

Look, if you compare the UK PM to a mad man fascist that’s just brought on a coup in a major Western Democracy, in fact the major Western Democracy... you’ll get a bit of stick for it.

Johnson is a poor PM, is highly incompetent and especially unfit to be PM in a crisis but to compare him to Trump is so hyperbolic it’s off the scale.

How about comparing their traits as I stated?
Racist? Check. Incompetent? Check. Compulsive liar? Check.
You bring in a so called coup to prove your point! I didn't say they have done identical things, I said they are similar and they have the same traits. Boris trump, as plain as the nose on your face if you choose to actually think about it son.

Johnson has made some racist jokes, when thinking he was funny, writing his column years ago. His political track record isn’t one of racism and he’s appointed the most diverse Cabinet in UK political history, as well as the new immigration policy being totally blind to colour and nationality.

That’s no excuse, his columns were totally unacceptable but he’s had 18 months in power and his record is totally different to Trumps.

You can say “racist check” but you can’t compare Jeremy Clarkson to Heinrich Himmler (well you probably would), just as Boris cannot be compared to what’s happening in America, it’s not even a different scale, it’s a different planet.

Ideologically he’s totally different and yes he lies and yes he’s incompetent but there’s dozens of politicians that lie and are incompetent.

Dawn Butler practically race baited the police and lied about it, she’s an absolute moron. So here we have a liar and someone incompetent. Is she comparable to Trump?

If Boris was tall, slim and had shorter black hair, the comparisons wouldn’t be there, that’s why it’s lazy and intellectually poor, it’s not actually based on their track record or policies in their politics.

Some people just find it easier to distill everything into simpler terms and put everyone into two boxes - goodies and baddies I suppose.

On to Corbyn... the Equality and Human Rights Commission said of Labour in their antisemitism investigation, that the LEADERSHIP was “at best allowed it to happen, at worst encouraged it”.

No I haven’t, but I also read up on the specifics.

There were leaked communications between the PM, his Cabinet and Attorney General Geoffrey Cox, in which Mr Cox told the PM that proroguing Parliament at that time was completely legal and within the jurisdiction he had.

This turned out to be false but it also means Johnson thought it was totally legal.

For the record proroguing Parliament happens all the time, it just hadn’t been done in a constitutional crisis since the 1990’s.

The thing is, I am not going to change the minds of these people but there is often other posters, who aren’t really political, fancy a quick look to see what’s going on, who will venture on to these threads and will be horrified, worried, and disgusted that we’ve got the Nazi Party running the country, when it’s not true. It’s really to offer an alternative to the endless drivel and I quite enjoy it.

I think elements of the left have become so ridiculous that they need knocking down a peg or two. Unfortunately they all just put me on ignore because they want their echo chamber.

Regarding your last part, well I’m in my 20’s still so 4/5 years of Brexit debate, going back that length of time, takes you to a different guy. 43/44 to age 48 doesn’t really see much change in a person unless something significant happens to them. Comparing your 23 year old self with you at 28 is a big difference. So there’s that.
