Rodri is an unspectacular player but effective and can be trusted to do what is asked of him. He’s going nowhere.Rodri is arguably the best defensive midfielder in the league. Why would we sell him?
And Gundogan is very overrated, I don't know if you've watched the past 5 or so games, but he's been immense.
Agree about Dundogan too though I think you mean underrated which he, and Rodders, are.

Maybe he wouldn't want to stay. But are you suggestint we shouldn't bring in a prolific goal scorer so Jesus remains happy? Jesus is a great player but he's no Aguero. Replacing Aguero with a player that is not as good as Jesus does not improve our team, despite how Jesus might prefer it. I don't want Jesus to leave but bringing in players that are not better than what we already have, to keep everyone happy, doesn't seem like a good strategy tbh. If Jesus wants to leave because he doesn't feel he's good enough to compete with whichever striker we bring in, then he's probably not good enough.If we do bring in Haaland, is Jesus going to want to stay? He’s been 2nd to Sergio all these years but obviously with Sergio getting older he can see a clear pathway to starting for us. However bringing in a 100mil+ young striker just says we don’t deem him good enough as our starting striker, unless we play a 2 striker system or Jesus plays on the wing. I can’t see him happy being second with clubs like Juve interested and potentially Barca/Inter/PSG/Dortmund if they sell their current striker.

Absolutely love Aouar. Apart from Messi he’s easily my favourite non-City player. A perfect Pep player. He would be more of a Gundo replacement though, I would be very surprised if we sign Aouar to play DMPersonally, I'd rather Aouor myself, but Luiz may do.
Not DM, we already have a young player ( Rodri) at that position... He'd come in to competw with Kev and Gundogan, and eventually replace one of them the next couple of years. I never saw Gundogan regaining his Dortmund form,i genuinely thought he was on the decline,so it seemed logical to find a player that would improve us.I'm very happy to see i was wrong.
As for Bernardo,Pep looks like he is using him more now,so again,unnnecessary to ship out.
Also,with the numbers,i needed to streamline for a touch more reality ;-)
