I csnt keep filling in the complaint form on the bbc ! They make so many regarding City it has to be on purpose. Still waiting for the bbc reply as to why our goal scored within the rules of the game, and why their pundits didnt understand that. As to why the bbc called it a controversial goal ! A perfectly legal goal nothing controversial about it at all. Only thing that was perhaps controversial was why didnt the villa staff or players now the rules, something that their bosses pay them handsomely to know !

Agree if Ferdinand cant control his hatred for City and be professional he shouldnt be doing our games.

Carlton Palmer was a pundit I think on Sky going back a few years. He was brutally honest and was not afraid to slag the big teams off. He didn't last long, not a great player but he was a very good pundit, kind of a young Buzzer in that respect, very entertaining.

I have to explain to my missus why I dont like Ferdinand, Giggs, etc. My missus said that documentary about Ferdinand ( last year o think ) and how sad about his wife etc. I asked did it mention him shagging loads of birds behind her back or him being a drug cheat ? NO. I said that documentary was just a pr job to try and improve his image. And as for family man she didnt about his affair with his brothers wife. Missus didnt know why spitty is called spitty so I showed her the video. How he didnt get the sack is one of the most bizarre things. Again she was surprised he wasnt sack but I explained its because he is ex liverpool sky wont sack him, for fear of losing the liverpool fan base, same the press/media wont write anything bad about LFC. The same way the press/media went lightly over them setting fire to the liver building , ignore social distancing etc win they won the league

That fact that Ferdinand working for BT a British tv company said he wanted RM to beat the only English left in the champions league. He wanted a non English team to beat an English team. A very strange view when working for an English tv company.

Now I am not overly bother about pundits my only gripe is why with 1000's of ex players why cant the tv companys etc employ, good sound decent ex pros ?

Why do I want to listen to an drug cheat or someone who sleeps with his brothers wife ? No thanks I have a higher morale standard than that. I wouldnt invite someone like that into my house. I want the listern to a good ex pro with decent morals stands someone I would like in my house, not a drug cheat . Why is that to much to ask?

Just employ good solid decent ex pros.

If it was only 'today' or 'this morning' it would be a bit soft but they are just small pieces in an ever growing jigsaw of lies and errors made through 'shear' football ignorance or an inability to use the English language properly, two attributes that a pundit should have.
I think that through the lockdown you are missing sitting on a bench on the sea front with other Meldrew types shouting at the waves.
So go on Red caff or RAWK to meet others having a go at City fans.

Frank, I enjoyed the fame and have nothing but admiration for the way Cheltenham played. What annoys me is the likes of Murphy talking throughout the game about himself. If they have to talk, mention how well their supporters did in raising money for the club and a food bank. Mention what a great gesture it was to allow City fans in to put up our flags. Mention anything except how he was stood on the kop with his rag brother.

Can I ask you a question..?

In your opinion, do you think overall, taking everything into consideration, that we receive a fair media press ?

Do Liverpool, United, Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal get reported on in a similar vein to us would you say ?

If not, why not ?

The answer is definitely not, why is this?

The above clubs have spent millions on players just like us so it can't be about money surely..

We operate within FFP which has been proven to be correct despite the unhealthy media clammer to see us prosecuted for breaking the rules at the time,

Also contrary to what the media keep peddling, our squad is no bigger than anyone elses..

We are a well organised, well run, debt free club with likeable players and manager.

We are respectful with regards to where we have come from and are humble with regards to going forward as a club..

We have no dirty laundry to hide, unlike certain clubs who are American owned, no huge debs or money laundering issues hanging over us..

So Frank, I'll ask again, do you think we get a fair and balanced press ?

I'm only asking you this because you mention certain City fans pointlessly whinging..

To be honest, the way we are treated, reported on and constantly sniped at day after day I can fully understand where they're coming from, I'm one of them..!

City fans aren't whinging, they are standing up for their club and defending it..


Absolutely nothing wrong with that and long may it continue..!

Exactly. It’s the classic case of the FA Cup underdog. Like the media are going to praise us for beating a side in League Two. Cheltenham deserve all the credit they’re getting, it’s their big day, not ours.

I think that Camelgob would get behind any English team in a CL latter stages match as can be seen from his delirious reaction to Spurs winning the CL semi. EXCEPT for City.
If had stayed at West Ham or even possibly Leeds he would have been entirely different. United taint all they touch.
