I’m not sure about the last part. Lampard did Chelsea a favour by going to the club during a transfer ban. He took the pressure off the club which gave them time to rebuild.

The board fucked Him over. 5 weeks ago Chelsea were doing great. Yes the league form is awful but he deserved to see out the season.

It all comes down to targets and pressure.The board was/is under pressure for the 200 million layout. They won’t take the blame so it passes along to the manager.

Exactly. The problem at Chelsea is the politics that go on behind the scenes there. Their transfer boss Marina seems to have a lot of power there. Its not the managers that buy the players, it's the transfer team headed up by her. So if you can't get their players to play well together, even though you might not have wanted them or wanted different players, it's still your head on the block.

Mrs Vienna phoned me this morning to tell me. I was shocked; it’s a ridiculous decision, IMHO.

I know that they haven’t been doing very well recently, but this is a crazy season with crazy results and he should have been given more time to get get things right.

As for his apparent replacement, I’m not convinced that Tuchel is a top drawer coach and I think the managerial Merry go round might be making another turn at the Kremlin before long.

I also think they should have been more patient with him, the table is so tight that a couple of wins could have put them in top 4,

I think they used Ole as a reference, I am sure if City and Liverpool were top of table this might not have happened.

A big spend that Frank hasn’t delivered on hence his sacking, but Chelsea haven’t spent a relative amount in a while.

I guess if Tuchel can get them chumps league then it will be viewed as a good move.

Be interesting to see how Chelsea fans have reacted. For me he’s a top bloke doing ok. As someone has already stated if Chelsea are looking at rags then possibly some logic, but if noddy can get that lot up there I’m sure Frank can, whereas Noddy completely fucked up CL progress, Frank breezed it

i keep seeing, lampard , we should have him as peps number two, fucking why ? really what the fuck has he done to even get a mention of coming to city, oh hes a nice bloke, so fucking what, he got the managers job at derby for who he was rather than what hes achieved in football management ,and if he felt he was good enough for chelsea then more fool him, if he did become peps no 2 then it will be because he is a worth it, not because he is frank Lampard.

Why did Arteta get the number two job then when he had done nothing up until that point?
