Chelsea thread 2020/21

Chelsea are poison. First sign of poor form you will get sacked. I thought they were building something good/ long term.

I hope we never end up like that and give our managers time
going to be difficult for whoever follows Pep the glory boy's will want results straight away and the media will smell blood and a chance to try destabilise the club

Horrible club and I feel for Lampard, someone I have always respected a lot. Would love him as an assistant here, but will not happen obviously.

Harsh sacking. Lampard had to stabilize the ship when the club lost Hazard and had a transfer ban. Between COVID and lack of pre-season, the players clearly needed more time to gel. You don't sign 5 first teams players at once and expect them all to hit the ground running.

Lampard is a class player and manager. Won't forget how he rightly tell off the smug Dipper bench. Hope he finds a better job with another team.

And Khaldoon will reply with his usual class:
"Whoever followed the legendary Pep was bound to have a difficult start. We will give X time to put his ideas on to the pitch. We will not listen to carping from the press."

Think they would of been better with a park the bus manager isn’t tuchal a manager who plays football
Granted I only watched his PSG side in the UCL, Tuchel seems to favor counter-attacking football. Neymar/Mbappe flair at the top, with a workhorse midfield.

Tuchel does have a reputation for falling out with the board everywhere he goes. Much like Conte/Mourinho, Tuchel might get them a trophy or two, but this will probably end badly eventually.

I think Chelsea operate with a director of football so the responsibility for the new signings falls at his door not Frank's.
Anyway typical Chelsea, I hope they fuck up now.

Tuchel has fallen out with the board at every club he's been at. Be found floating in the Thames if he keeps that same energy at Chelsea.

Sky just touting him as some sort of genius for winning the title at PSG ! Frank Clarke would get PSG close to a title given the utterly ridiculous advantage they have in terms of resources.
