Ferdinand was slagging them of for this on BT, and rightly so. I couldn't believe the number of mistakes and missed opportunities to clear there were during this sequence. However, he absolved Fernandez of any responsibility.

Fernandez is as culpable as the rest of them. That guy who scored is standing in acres of space, in the penalty area, as everyone stands around watching, hoping that someone else will clear the ball. And that includes Fernandez. When the final pass goes to the scorer, Fernandez suddenly realises he is unmarked, and he makes a late sprint to close him down. Too late.

Nice one United. Keep it going.

Thing is he plays the same away he did last night against everyone else only sometimes he pops up with a goal, look at his game against Fulham, apart from that great goal his game was no different than last night, he never controls game nor dominate them just has one moment of quality once in a while, he's just a youtube player.

Why did it take Fernandes so long to get there, he suddenly appears like an Olympic sprinter just as the final shot is being taken. Had he been for a comfort break?

It really doesn't matter whose fault it was - it was a thing of beauty and something they should be very proud of
 
Now I know I am a cynical sausage but.....
Has anyone seen these racist tweets?
Have they been reported to the police?
Usually we will get a statement from the dibble about the investigation and yet I have heard nothing. Hmmmm I wonder if the same PR team that organised Rashfords campaign could possibly have spun this to hide the fact that they LOST.

Just sayin'
