The ignoring Manchester City part from the British media on the whole is very much like state sponsored press of dictatorships such as Russia, North Korea etc. They don’t want to report it and pretend we are not really here. Maybe they think this tragedy works for dictators, it should work for them too. But I am a amazed by the level of collaboration on things like city. You usually only see all of media pushing one narrative during war times.
