I don't think they are good enough to win it, and I seriously doubt their credentials to make top 4. They simply are not a good enough side to be a threat to us, and I don't see things changing in the foreseeable future.
My reasoning being that it is as it's always been - media hype. Glittering headlines from the rag-loving media about Penandez, Pogbad, Saint Rashford and whoever else is flavour of the month do nothing to conceal the fact that these players are simply not all that.
Let's be realistic, not one of the rags would get into our side, and probably not the dippers either. Maybe one or two might get into the Arsenal or Spuds side, but as for the rest - probably not even Steve Bruce would be interested (actually, that's going way too far: Bruce would sign someone who once walked past the swamp just for the rag connection).

Had it not been for some decidedly sinister refereeing decisions the vermin would be below mid-table, of that I'm sure. So fuck 'em, they're an irrelevance: nothing to concern ourselves about. Let their players get on with sustaining their Hollywood lifestyle, their social media presence, their insatiable hunger for the limelight, and we'll just get on with the job of going out and playing football - after all, that's why we're here.

i'm naturally pessimistic so maybe my opinion aint worth shit, but I dont think they're a terrible side, just a distinctly average (and sometimes poor) side that are benefitting greatly from sporadic form across the league.

I dont take any stock in what the media have to say. I think Rashford is talented but far too erratic, Wan Bissaka should force a move to further his career and that Fernandes would probably get on our bench. The rest are junk.

I do think that something changes a dozen games from the end, teams sense the finish line a start to dig in. No doubt they've had their penalty luck, and surely cannot keep winning from losing positions like they do (once that stops they really are knackered). So i am hoping February is very unkind to them and they simply fall away.

I think Liverpool and Leicester should then become the main title threat to us.

When the Rags have a shit result why is there always a diversionary headline , BBC are the main culprits , there are so many Rag sychophants employed by the paedo protectors that it appears criticism of the football teams insipid performances are swept under the carpet in an instant.
F*ck the Rags and their BBC PR machine.

jobs for the boys and hangers on any connections with utd will do your in .......
dempsey phelan mckenna butt phelan fletcher carrick .......
The coaching set-up at United has been a disaster for years. It's the football equivalent of Jurassic Park. I can't think of a single player that has improved after being bought or brought through the ranks there. Under Pep, City are the total opposite.

The (Yank)Rags and Data Hackers are at it again.

The article is in the Daily Mail if you want to read it?

Man United and Liverpool owners accused of 'plotting to DESTROY football' with £4.6bn European Super League project by LaLiga chief Javier Tebas... as he says Real Madrid's president Florentino Perez is behind the 'underground project'

It’s the only way out of there debt but any team entering it there players will be banned from international football.

Yeah he really saw his arse over the Welcome to Manchester banner didn't he.
Insists on being addressed as Sir Alex, perhaps he should start behaving like a Knight of the Realm.

Dont know why pisscan got so angry about a factual correct poster. Tevez hadnt played for a Manchester based club and City were just saying welcome to Manchester. They was nothing stopping utd from putting up posters saying welcome to Trafford.

Why are utd so desperate to be a Manchester club, what is so wrong with Trafford ? . Most boroughs of Greater Manchester have a football team named after them, Bolton, Stockport, etc but Trafford council must be so pissed of that they big team doesnt want to be known as Trafford.

Its amazing how many arguments I get into in kent because the utd plastics down here are adamant that utd are in Manchester it does my head in. I even have a photo of the Manchester map on my phone as ask them to point out were old Trafford is on it lol !

In our match yesterday the commentators kept say this is Sheffield Utd second trip to Manchester in a few days. Why did they come to Manchester twice ? If they did than Sheffield United would have been at the wrong ground to play mid week.

As you can tell I hate the fact that this horrible club was allowed to use our wonderful Citys name it really grates on me ;(. I know the reason why Manchester City council allowed it but.....

Agree 100% mate.
It always pisses me off when Rag managers wear blazers with the Manchester coat of arms on it too, they should be banned IMO.
They have a history of stealing and copying though so I'm not surprised.
Stole/ copied the name Old Trafford from Lancashire CCC, The Red Devils nickname from Salford RLFC and Glory, Glory from Spurs.

Totally agree it's about the Manchester City Council stopped teams from outside of Manchester from wearing our coat of arms.

My late mum wore her coat of arms badge with pride because she was swimming for Manchester not bloody Trafford

Rags sending Rashford, Tuanzebe and Martial racist abuse on Twitter. Ever so classy, but then these are the same people who called Lukaku a gorilla - and that was one of the nicer names for him - when he played for them. Definitely seemed to be the plastic/social media brigade as well.

Agreed ... although it’s being reported that he has suffered racial abuse online after todays game.

I don’t understand why people feel making a racist remark enhances how shit he is.

Surely it’s sufficient just to say he’s; shit/crap/wank/spunk/busted flush/over rated/heading to Sunderland(or in to another dead end)/etc etc etc
According to these idiots, white players are crap because they're crap. Black players are crap because they're black.

Phil Jones is dreadful but oddly enough, he never gets abuse for being white.

Must be the "United Way" or in the "United DNA" that the bus driver is always going on about.
As usual, the Rags are showing us their "class" with their appalling behaviour.

Ther rent boy showing his cowardice once again.

He's more afraid of losing to the other "big clubs" than he is desperate to win these games.

Stockport and Oldham etc. are specific towns though, with a town centre.

Trafford is just a made up area with lines on a map that kind of trace the land the de Trafford family owned but it’s innacurate as a lot of that land extended into what is Manchester (Whalley Range and Moss Side, for example).

There’s no town or even a village called Trafford.

United should be called Stretford United because, while their ground is called Old Trafford, it’s not actually in Old Trafford (Old Trafford is further over on the other side of Chester Road), it’s in the Trafford Park industrial estate in Stretfrord.

Correct. I was born and bred in OT, this side of Warwick Road on Skerton Road and went to Stretford Grammar not OT Grammar!

They basically come from nowhere in particular then, which matches their playing style. Pretty sure that during their borefest against Arsenal yesterday I heard Tyler make the excuse for them that they are still rebuilding. This will be the transition started by Moyes?
