Messi’s contract at Barca revealed

Seems like it’s between 200 and 300 judging by twitter. Can’t believe how anyone wouldn’t want Messi at City. Best player of all time and he would end up paying his own wages
Pele was of one time also. Still wouldn’t want him here on the premise he would pay for himself.

Look for future talents, not those on the decline for the circus show they’d bring to town.

Don’t your read the thread? It will cost us next to nothing and probably make us some money having Messi!

Do people think we are run like some corner shop?!
And the probably he will make us more money is what I am talking about.
Unless there are multiple deals already in place we will only know this after the fact.
And did say that I will leave this to our competent owners as we fans clearly know squat about the financial side of the deal.

And you keep repeating the same about wanting him to come.

It's all about opinions, the Messi we could sign at the end of the season is not the player he once was.

We clearly have a very happy camp, a very good dressing room, I don't want someone who could upset that.

Messi, yes even 7 times balon d'or winner could upset the apple cart, especially if he is on 500k a week, however it is funded. If I was KDB I would want parity.

Its not an opinion issue.

I dont mind people saying i don't want him to come, the problem is you keep bullshitting about who will be a bigger draw for sponsors and outside fans, and how one of the 2 players in world football who is a global household name is apparently going to be less marketable than fucking Erling Haaland.

On the other hand, more subjectively, anyone who thinks KDB will want parity is a fucking idiot in my opinion.

The simple answer he would get if he asked is you can have parity when you have 7 ballons d'or, can score 35-50 goals alongside the 20 assists you got last season and have 250 million followers on social media and sponsorships worth 9 figures per year. Because that's why Messi gets paid what he gets paid.

De Bruyne is not an idiot. He knows how things work, and i imagine he will be grateful he gets to play alongside the best player in history and win a load of trophies.

Would love Pele but there would be a lot of stiff competition although the option would be hard to turn down. A couple of years playing and we would erect a statue
That’s all my knob jokes I can think of

KDB is in contract negotiations, if you think the possibility of Messi turning up and getting 500k a week plus is not an issue with the former, your the idiot.

KDB is the leader and figure head of Manchester City today not Messi.

Haaland is a must. Perfect long-term replacement for Kun and will cost a lot less than Messi.
He has to be at the top of the list or very near to it.

Will cost a fortune but also at the age and ability level that he could lead our attack for a decade.

KDB is not an idiot trying to come up with reasons to not sign Messi. He knows his place on the totem pole.

He will get paid a fair amount and it will be a fraction of what Messi earns. Because Messi is a global commercial behemoth and KDB knows he isn't.

Seems pretty clear Messi is leaving considering they've put the propaganda machine into motion to discredit him. Can't see it working with most Barca fans because they've seen what he's done for the club, but it will serve as ammunition for the gutter press if he moves here.

Yes lol.

Lol at you thinking KDB is different from Henry, or Eto'o, or Iniesta, or Xavi, or Neymar, or Griezmann.

These players know instantly that they aren't getting the money Messi gets, and none of them had an issue with it.

But KDB will? Not a fucking chance.

Fucking disgusting no matter how you look at it.

The greedy bastard.
I get where you're coming from, but if you were solely responsible for making your employers 250m you'd probably be entitled to wanting a fair chunk of it paid to yourself.

If it were my decision, I'd take a pass on Messi at that price and just sign Haaland instead but that said, I don't think it would affect the wage structure. He's the best player ever and one of the most recognizable people on the planet. Just a totally different scale to everyone else.

Is Haaland really that good? I haven’t really seen him play, never seen a full game of his. Is he a cut above anyone else out there?
How would you rank him in terms of value to a team compared to say Mbappe?
