Never thought I would be writing this a couple of months ago, but it's now looking like it's between the current top 3, so scum, Leicester and us. Hope it's not a premature thought, but mathematically it's starting to look like that.

I expect another early onslaught like the game at the Etihad. Klopp will be sending them out to prove a point.

But if we can weather the storm without conceding a 30 yard thunderbolt, we should really be able to get at them.

I know the bush wackers got wacked but we have a tough month coming up. It is a tad too early to gloat. Red scum still winning sorry cheating.

Beware dippers' monster man Dias and his blue army are coming down the M62 for you next!!!

Put them to the sword. We will boss this game, live on TV. For all to see. This will be the performance and result that's removes them from the equation. And I cannot bloody wait.

I think the blueprint for them this season is: Defend well, frustrate them and then slowly start turning the screw until they lose all hope of getting anything. We can't go in gung-ho, thats not how their losses have come, that will just leave space in behind and give the ref/VAR an opportunity to gift them a decision. Mane was a big miss for them tonight with his pace and diving, so I expect the front three will still need to be looked after on Sundy, as well as the wing backs but I think should dominate the midfield even without KDB there. If we do that, then we should be able to get at that defence big time.

------------------- Ederson -----------------
Cancelo --- Stones --- Dias ---Zinchecko
--- Bernardo ---- Rodri ----Gundogan---
Torres ------------ Jesus ------------Foden

It's a pity that Aguero or KDB aren't ready.
