BT Sports Football Show talking about City

"Does anyone resent the money they have, it all seems a bit vulgar."

"Every triumph they have is a little hollower, for having billions dumped straight into it."

"Liverpool's spending is hard earned, and adds a hint of authenticity to it, something City don't have when they spend £40million again & again & again."

This program is described as a humorous look at the weeks football stories.
Ironic, considering BT spent literal billions, and continue to spend literal billions every 2 or 3 seasons, to buy in to the Premier League, Champion’s League and Europa League TV rights.

There’s nothing vulgar from earning all of your money from what was historically (well, recent history really) an actual monopoly.

All of the emotive negative words come out when City succeed. Glad it hurts you you cocksuckers, it makes me even happier.

Have a look at the breaking news story on Sky News about young players being exploited in the biggest secret in football...young Fulham lad, pumped with steroid injections forced to retire. Accompanying pic is Premier league trophy with City’s ribbons on it!

So they’ve already conceded this years title, that’s jolly nice of them.

The racist media are back slagging off our achievements now that Liverpool are stumbling. They will continue to beat us with the money stick and devalue the clubs fantastic work on and off the field. Disgusting bastards. Fuck them all blues.

Fuck em mentioning money, it’s earned money. When was the last time Mansour was allowed to put his own cash in, roundabout 2011 maybe? If it was an endless pile of blank cheques from Abu Dhabi Uefa would have been all over it. The court of arbitration for sport has seen our accounts if they were wrong we wouldn’t be playing a champions league last 16 game at the end of the month.

Did they make any passing reference to the Werewolf of Merseyside being 'found out,' or are they still finding out they haven't a clue just who has been lost or found? It really is a sign the team is returning back to its best when propaganda merchants like Ladyman resume informing their audience that 'City are boring'.

City are only boring if you a) want us to lose and/or b) have zero appreciation of footballing artistry.

Maybe if we played 5 up front, and hoofed it every time it came back in our half, then maybe we would be known as the best’est team in the whole wide universe.

ps, we’d also have to change to a red kit and find our food in the bin.
But it would mean more!

Exactly this.

I keep telling my Scouse colleague this. That we literally proved in court, that for the last 7/8 years, all of our money has been “organic” due to FFPR and the accusation of us breaking/bending the rules to get around that have been proven totally false.

Does your Scouse mate know about that fake stadium to dodge financial fair play? They’ve done much worse things then City to bend the rules, however it hardly gets mentioned.

I can't understand why these people want an owner that has put money into the game driven out while seemingly perfectly ready to see our game and it's history destroyed by an American ownership model of the PL.

I just watched Sean Dyche interview on BBC and I think he only referred to City as "These" once. He called us "These teams" a couple of times but preferred the anonymous "They" most of the time.

Come on Sean, have the balls to use the swear word "City" next time
They’ve now owned by the US who I believe borrowed the money to do so in the name of Burnley. I believe the club has gone from no debt to circa £90Mill.
So unfortunately for him he is now one of these clubs, and his job is on the line.

Prick Latcham on radio 5 this morning mentioned all last nights games with player interviews, all except our game, not even a fleeting reference..
I hope the cnut gets a coldsore over the weekend
Amazing wasn't it?

Liverpool's defeat was said with a heavy sigh of disappointment and sympathy and that Brighton nicked it. No, they thoroughly deserved the win. Many times last season and the previous season the Dippers played badly but somehow won games. Not this time though.
