No think spikey about it, stop looking for quarrels coz you won't get one. There is also ways of answering questions and your usual spikey defensive way aint it.
it was just a question as im interested. People may answer , they may not. But its of interest on how people who refuse it will crack on in life.
I’m not vulnerable, I’ve already had it and it did next to nothing to me (even went for a run which is the only run I’ve done in nearly a year lol, when I had it but didn’t realise I did) and I will still be getting the vaccine when the government tells me I should. We will eventually wipe it out because it does not mutate fast enough (current mutations are the result of vast quantities of virus) but in the interim note that government lingo: live with it like 'flu.
So people have a choice:
Getting vaccinated is the path of least resistance although the people who have had it (30%), and young may decide to do nothing.
- Hide away for another 6 months
- Get vaccinated
- Catch it
Talking of beer , on House of Games this week it was stated the average drinker spends £38k on beer & Londoners £82k a lifetime . Can’t wait to get that average upIt's not all good news. Just reading nearly 87m pints of beer had to be poured down the drain in the last year....!
Joking aside, it is nice to see good news.
I would emphasise. I seem to recall you have a pretty decent reason. Not sure what your stance still is but i would empathise totally if you still werent keen . But id still be interested to hear how you plan to move forward ? Pm me if you dont want to discuss in the openNo think spikey about it, stop looking for quarrels coz you won't get one.
People refusing vaccination is, as has been discussed on here some weeks ago, a very emotive subject and abuse thrown at those indicating they might refuse it.
Asking people now, when emotions are high to now come out on a public forum and confess they are not willing to have it, and for them to explain to others is a tad naive in my book.
Do you honestly believe people would empathise?
Hopefully the case.We will eventually wipe it out because it does not mutate fast enough (current mutations are the result of vast quantities of virus)
It implies singularity.I’m not vulnerable, I’ve already had it and it did next to nothing to me (even went for a run which is the only run I’ve done in nearly a year lol, when I had it but didn’t realise I did) and I will still be getting the vaccine when the government tells me I should.
Being vaccinated means there’s less chance of it spreading so everyone should do it.
I'm taking the vaccine as soon as offered.I would emphasise. I seem to recall you have a pretty decent reason. wasnt honestly looking for a quarrel ... this time ;)
I didnt honestly know that feelings were that high and abuse was thrown aboutI'm taking the vaccine as soon as offered.
The abuse being thrown about on here when the vaccine prog was about to start about those not fully convinced was OTT, so asking someone now, when most are at their tether with this pandemic imo, would do nothing but invite abuse to those who are refusing.
I understand your desire to understand, but for the reasons I said, I dont think Bluemoon will be the source of your answersI didnt honestly know that feelings were that high and abuse was thrown about
my opinion is too that as soon as offered ill be jabbed. If some one chooses not to thats there call but id be keen to know how they plan to get back to ‘normal’.
You'd imagine that there's a slow down with firsts whilst they're running alongside seconds.Don't forget we have second jabs to give too.
I understand that you understand, but i hope you understand that i was just interested.I understand your desire to understand, but for the reasons I said, I dont think Bluemoon will be the source of your answers
Had my jab yesterday......oh dear! Horrible reaction...headache, high temp, retching, general weakness. I dont want to put anybody off, but be prepared in case you react. I shall certainly go for the second jab and suffer for the good of all!
My wife had the same reaction. She had the Astra Zeneca vaccine but she's fine nowHad my jab yesterday......oh dear! Horrible reaction...headache, high temp, retching, general weakness. Had mine Thursday pm, the AZ one. No major reactions other than a very slight general malaise, like the afternoon following a heavy drinking session the day before.Had my jab yesterday......oh dear! I had AZ. Interestingly, there was a doubt that it would work because I take a heavy dose of immuno-suppressants. So, despite the discomfort, the reaction was welcome. The good news is that your body is strongly reacting to the vaccine and you will be producing large amounts of antibodies. It might not feel like that right now, though :)
Which vaccine did you have out of interest? I’ve got my first shot on Monday.
