Like a few have mentioned a better team than Arsenal might have punished us for that wastefulness.
But it's hard to be too critical of this team.

I think the game, for me, can be summed up that the only players who I thought were superb today were Dinho, Stonesy and Ruben.

Only other player with any credit was Zinchenko.

Rest were average, but everyone worked hard.

Happy days though, solid as a rock and 3 points at a canter.

I hate nervy 1-0 leads but with this defence & Dino in there we are showing another way of our class, in the past we lose them 2-1 or draw today this team is so much better at the back, not sure how many goals we concede in our 3 title winning seasons but this has to be the best, imagine from the start Stones & Dias wow they are just great together

Rest a few in midweek maybe don't even travel with Gundo, Cancelo & Berny we have plenty in the tank

Good three points and another game chalked off - this is the sort of performance we couldn’t do last season so it’s to be welcomed even if it was unspectacular.

Thought Cancelo would have been rested today and he looked a bit tired, but still could have wrapped it up at the end. Fernandinho was just supreme, Stones not far behind. Lots said about Stones’ mental resilience this year but he looks far stronger physically and a yard quicker.

Four league games at home now and if we win all of them then that will be it.

in a dominant cleansheet win isn't too shabby...

Arsenal were concentrating on avoiding a disaster
but were clueless how to come at us.

Our defensive work as a team is a joy to watch (Raz, Jesus, Bernie, Gundo, even Mahrez) and is exactly what many of us knew was the missing link for CL glory
over the last years. Interesting weeks ahead.

Our squad is in a fantastic shape at a late stage of a demanding season.
Pep's learning curve in defence and running efficiency is worth mentioning.
Very well done.

One of those games that as soon as we got in front, minds turned to the next game. Dias, Stones and Dinho won that game for us because they were at it for the full 90 minutes. Wins at Liverpool, Everton and Arsenal and a home win against Spurs, all potentially tricky, navigated comfortably. Do the same with the next 3 and the league is sorted.

We always struggle to win when we score early, and we should have been 3 goals up. But Arsenal got a grip but honestly it was like shooting peas at a tank. Dias MOTM followed by Stones and Fernandinho sensational.

Physically i think that was our toughest game this season , the team didn't get much protection from the ref from Arsenals sly dirty challenges ,but they kept their discipline & didn't react back or get upset .
That was a good 1-0 win in the end , last season under the same circumstances we would of folded & lost the game .
A big well done to the team , the confidence ,togetherness & winning mentality is great to see ,lets enjoy it while it lasts.
