Players who might improve us

I completely agree about the young players I always have high hope for the lads but very few get a chance thb has little or no chance with dias, Stones, laporte and Ake there and Doyle and delap also have pretty tough competition especially if we get haaland and Messi! Lol bazanu is having a great loan and think he needs minutes. Would love Hart back hopefully if the chance for him to return as a 3rd choice he would take a massive pay cut to win things and prolong his career.
Just checked Hart has another year on his deal at 27,500 per week and Carson is 18,000.
3rd Choice Keeper in the PL has got to be the best job in the world

Lol its my dream job the rewards of being a pro footballer without any pressure or responsibility. Plus the 3rd choice keeper always seems to be injured the same time as the 1st or 2nd choice so they never ever make the bench.lol

I don’t know about other clubs but City essentially use the third keeper as a second goalkeeping coach. Wright, Taylor and now Carson

Why would we want a spent force like Hart back?

We couldn’t ever use him because his distribution was always terrible, he doesn’t have the basic skills to play behind a high line and his shot stopping fell off a cliff many moons ago.

If it’s to be charitable towards him then charity should go where it’s needed, not to multimillionaires.

It’s actually quite comical how you chose to suggest bringing Hart back to City in the ‘players who might improve us’ thread because he would never have left if he had anything whatsoever to offer.

As 3rd choice gk who is club trained I honestly think he is capable enough to sit in the stands every week, collect a wage and fill a quota call me optimistic. We need to bring in a club trained player to recruit haaland, Messi, mitchell and luiz who are players I believe would improve us.

Anyone know anything about this kid?

Signed by Montevideo and loaned straight back, fuck all to do with us.

Stuart Taylor, wow. 95 first team games in all competitions in a career spanning 21 seasons.

I get that you like the fella and would like to see his huge fortune further bloated, but if a third keeper only has to be good enough to sit in the stands, rather than good enough to at least offer something to the team if push comes to shove, then why have one at all?

He didn’t have the ability or the inclination to play the kind of football that City play under Pep. He had his chance to show Pep but he failed. He then went on to fail miserably at Birmingham, Torino, West Ham and Burnley and you think that Pep should have another look at him in the hope that he might suddenly be good enough to allow City to play their game with him in net if it ultimately transpired that our 1st & 2nd keepers were simultaneously injured?

Hart is not a name than can be seriously put forward in the ‘players than might improve us’ thread.

Failed at Birmingham?
