Wow...glad you’re back running mate. Pipe dream for me atm but each day I can feel that bit stronger.

Ill post the ‘vitamin shopping list’ on here. I think you have to balance out the vit D with mag as it may have adverse effects if you take too much as it may end up in your arteries.
Magnesium glycinate btw...taking that before bed was like that sleepy scene from the wizard of Oz. Amazing. I’m ordering my list this weekend.
Do your own research however...!

Glad you’re on the mend mate.

Let me know where you can order that magnesium from please pal and what doses?

I could do with some help sleeping due to my muscular aches.

Shouldn't the deaths in the 80 plus age range be much lower now given that nearly all 80 pluses were vaccinated in January ( mostly early to mid) with the three weeks protection kick in by mid February?
Or put another way how many of the 151 people who died were vaccinated?
Or is this a 'catch up' thing?
PS These are genuine questions. I'm not casting doubt on the optimism of the figures.
There will be a plateau or rebound as the vaccinations in the younger ages come through.

Could even be happening already.

As to the other questions, yes. Could be all of those!

Any mineral that ends in 'ate' is most absorbable and subsequently better.

Ive noticed the roads and public transport have become progressively busier this week, definitely people are becoming more relaxed and complacency may be setting in with a few.
I think the usual knobheads need reminding, despite light at the end of the tunnel,we are a still very much in a lockdown.

It's absolutely dead in Newton Heath and Failsworth.

No mate, there's plenty of walking zombies about. And the roads are as busy pre covid. They're all out.
Not round here mate. I have just been for a walk up Droylsden Rd, right down Lord Lane, down Oldham Rd from Tesco and it is dead.
I don't know what it has been like as I have been locked inside my house for months. I was shocked at how quiet it was, especially with it being Friday.

I interpreted as an activity they did prior to infection not the cause. How would you know, unless you literally had no contacts / other activity?
In lockdown only going out to shop as the last thing before infection. Not sure what else it can be, but yes it's not clear. That said infection control is non existent in most supermarkets.

One line from Hancock in the briefing this evening struck a really optimistic note. It was to do with vaccination numbers and after detailing how in recent days the numbers have started hitting previous highs he said 'We are going to have a bumper March'.

I'm confident that by the end of next month all the over 40s as well as every adult with a condition that makes them vulnerable wil be done. The government have been definitely downplaying the speed of the roll out and it wil be done far quicker than many expect.

I’ll be better posting what she told me but, as ever, ask questions from others too.
I’ve known her for a few years (my ex knows her very well too) a s she’s lovely (and mentioned, has a phd n microbiology).
Used to think that with her yoga et al, she might be a bit hippyish but she’s the antithesis of all that (she’s of Indian hermitage).
I recall she organised a quite graphic male stripper for someone’s party once and it changed my opinion of her.
I know the family quite well and they’re all lovely.
I digress.

Here’s her message:

Vit D at least 4000IU so 1000IU for every 25lb body weight. If you're taking Vit D must take mag at least 500mg/day. Must take Vit K2 MK7 500ug/day too so calcium from the Vit D doesn't end up in your ateries.

Omega 3 not 6! I take Vivo life plant based one. Best to go to source i.e. algae rather than the animal that eats it.

B12 I l take sublingual. Brand- Nature provides 2400ug/day. If taking B12 take methyl folate too otherwise imbalance!!!

Echinacea- you're better off with Matcha Tea. I have Kineta. Matcha will sort you out for vit C and all your anti oxidants.

That’s magnesium glycinate btw.
I recall taking 4 tabs (I probably needed it anyway but was incredible fir making me drift off....like being a kid again...

”head meet pillow - night, night”

Amazon is your friend here. Holland & Barrett will likely rip you off.

I’ll probs put in an order this weekend.

For me it’s Vit B12 (due to running and eventually gym sessions), Vit D & the mag but I’ve taken cod liver since a kid (heart/bones....not sure what the latest research says it benefits?) but will look into the other method she mentioned.

The Echinacea comes from lots of people over the years mentioning it but I don’t know a great deal about it.

Honest I've been going to work to Chadderton every day during lockdown. It's definitely getting busier. Must have been mayhem last time you were out!

I take Echinacea for my Crohn's. To be honest I take absolutely all sorts.
