Not good enough atm, but like any Pep signing he should get a free pass until next season
This. There’s a broad range of views on him in here today. We have a young bag of shite who is no good/better than Sane.

This fella might end up dividing opinion more than Sterling.

I've said it before, more rule than exemption that a player struggles the first season with Pep - I'm not worried in the long run, and he's turning 21 shortly, although his day doesn't exist this year.

Was ok today seeming he has not had much game time recently

Yet to be convinced, not seen enough from him yet to see what his outstanding characteristics are. Has looked a good finisher at times, but I haven't seen him do enough to say what he will consistently bring to the team compared to the other wide forwards. Still early though

Give him a season, we should know now this happens to a new signing takes 1 season , Dias being the exception

Not great today, but far too early to judge him. There is definitely a good player in there and he has proved already he is a decent finisher. Let's see how he gets on next season.

Not good today and doesn't quite appreciate the role as much as our other options do just yet, hence Zinchenko looking so exposed 1st half. Did track back 2nd half and make a vital interception on a counter though.

Young lad, still settling in. He'll be better next year and it does him no favours him being put in a much changed team without rhythm.

Thought their best player by some way was the right back who looked very strong - Ferran just needs a run of games, which is tough with us going so well but very encouraging signs and the way he tracked back for a crucial tackle when we were stretched showed he is a team player. Will be a regular next year.

Didt do himself any favours for staking a place in the team , but the west ham lad was their best player and he had Torres in his back pocket , time is in Torres's side though only 21 years old and Pep i am sure will knock him into shape. He has buckets full of potential but he is trying to get into the best team in europe , he is one for the future.

Coufal is one of the best right backs in the league both going forward and defensively granted Torres didn't have the best game but he's certainly not going to have a game against someone of that quality in a while anyway - usually, he'll be playing on the front foot as the opposing full back won't offer much offensively.

Things to work on for sure, but, with zinchenko not offering an overlap because he was playing a more inverted role he didn't have much in terms of support, Coufal had one man to worry about and did his job well.

Torres still had the occasional moment, you know - sometimes, an opposing player can play well without ours having played so badly they're deserving of such criticism, Coufal is really good, Honestly reminds me a lot of Zaba.

It was a tough tough game for him to come into after not staring for a bit there right back had him in his pocket.

Probably see the best of him next season.

With so many changes today, it’s hard to judge. Playing him in Budapest might have made more sense. Even though we won I thought we made too many changes today and it showed in the first half.
