plus depending on aguero, Laporte and maybe Jesus could be some nice money coming in and big savings on wages to make way for some big signings? Plus we have a load of younger players who we could sell on for a few million each to get off the books and boost the coffers

Imo if Messi joins he may play in a double false 9 with Jesus or Haaland or behind the striker or a lone false 9 as he might be bullied if he plays as a Rw in the Prem.

I don’t think comparing to Tosin is that relevant. It was deadline day, he wanted out, and there couldn’t have been many offers. He’s been at the club since he was a little kid, captaining youth sides, making first team appearances and has never said a bad word about the club. I think we let him go cheap as a ‘thank you’ to him, instead of haggling over the fee and potentially leaving him here without playing for at least 6 months

Can’t see anyone who still in and around the team leaving only one maybe would be Mendy a loan deal can’t see anyone buying him
 
Fernandinho and aguero I expect to both leave. I don't expect Mendy to leave, nobody will give us anything remotely decent for a guy who has barely played in 3 years so I suspect he will go out on loan for a year with the hope he can impress and we can recoup more the following summer if he can have a fit season. If Messi comes mahrez could be the only prime 1st teamer to leave
 
Eric Garcia as well right? He'll be out of contract and move on a free but since he's under 24 I believe there will be a tribunal fee, correct? If so, should be a few million.

Don't think there's a tribunal fee if he's out of contract.
 
My waters are telling me that if we sign Haaland and Messi that Aguero and Sterling will go. (Not Mahrez)

Options for the front 3 are...
Haaland - Messi - Foden
Torres - Jesus - Mahrez

There isn't, tribunals are for British transfers, we will get a set compensation fee through FIFAs training development scheme - though it will be small, I think its 90k euros per season we have trained him.

Mendy can go, Dinho and Kun's best days have gone. Steffen is really surplus if we can bring in a HG player instead to free up a spot.

Think the past few months pretty much everyone has played a part so hard to shift them on.

If I was Steffen I might want to go. USA International and might be looking to get full time football.
Martinez spent years at Arsenal with no game time and since he moved to Villa he is looking like one of the top keepers in the premier league.
As long as Pep is at City Ederson will be number 1.

Aguero maybe Sterling zero chance he is going anywhere and who is going pay 150m for him?
 
Feeling also Mahrez be going nowhere if we buy a striker and get Messi I feel it be sergio and Fernandinho going and Mendy will go out on loan.

I hope Fernandinho stays as backup to Rodri.

My priority in midfield would be to find a backup to Bernardo. We've stumbled upon how his style fits perfectly in our 3 man midfield. Someone who can run all day and is a terrier with and without the ball.

More reason imo to lose players elsewhere and the most sellable option is Sterling plus its only up front that we have the cover to take a gamble.

(I'd prefer Mahrez to go but will a club go for him?)
