If you look back over recent weeks most players drop in out every couple of games. Gundogan was un-dropable a few games back but has been dropped to the bench. Foden was similar.

Wouldn't surprise me if FFS was dropped. Pep is balls deep in rotation this season.

Surely that nickname for Mahrez is on borrowed time now. I prefer MOTM.

Anything can happen in a one off game & especially in a derby, but if we both play anything like on current form then we should absolutely smash the rags all over.

We looked a bit off form in patches against West Ham & Wolves, but it was really only for short phases of each game. We need to be on it 100% for this, if we are, they will be in trouble I think.

I think that's pretty accurate, tbh. Shaw is probably the only one who would stand a chance of getting in our side at the moment.

All things being equal, we should win comfortably on Sunday but derbies rarely work out like that. Wouldn't be surprised if they switched to a back five to try, so we'll have to be patient and take our chances when they come. Quite like the idea of playing without a striker again, like we did in the cup game at their place, but it'd be harsh to leave out Jesus about his performance on Tuesday.

Sergio has done his time at this club and has been a magnificent servant, but time waits for no one, if he’s not fit, and I wouldn’t start him even if he was, then he doesn’t start.
Personally I think him and KDB coming off the bench on Sunday is our best option anyway.

Yep derbies are a strange affair, it nearly always builds up with one team in form and the other not so. And that is exactly what is happening now
